It was early Sunday morning, and you had a big party the night before, so you were trying to have a sleep-in until you started hearing a strange song. It was familiar though, but you couldn’t quite remember what it was. ‘Da da da da da da, Circus, da da da da da da, Afro, Circus, Afro, Circus, Afro, Polkadot, Polkadot, Polkadot, AFRO!’ went the song. Then suddenly you realise that your best friend Niall had made that your ringtone for when he rings you. So you jump out of bed and run to answer your phone. And funnily enough, Niall was calling.
“Yes?” you say sleepily.
“Its time to get up in the morning –“ he starts to sing.
“Yes, yes, I’m up. Now what do you want?” you ask, interrupting him.
“Well, I’ve been thinking. I need to talk to you,” he says. But there is something fishy about the way he said it.
“Niall, you can tell me anything. You’re my best friend. Come over right now, and talk to me!” you insist.
“But, but, I” he stutters.
“No, come right now!” you interrupt, again.
Five minutes later there is a knock at the door. You run to the door, knowing its Niall and open it straight away.
“Okay, dude. Sit down on my bed now!” you instruct him, as you push him on to your bed.
“Um, well..” he says nervously.
“C’mon, spit it out!” you insist.
“Well, I’ve been thinking lately. We have known each other for, well, god knows how long! You are definitely my best friend, but everyday I want to be with you more and more –“
“Awwh, that’s so cute! But seriously, spit it out!” you say, jokingly.
“Hang on! Let me finish!” he says impatiently. “Anyway, as I was saying. Everyday I want to be with you more and more, all the time. And I think the only way for me to do this is to be with you. So, Nia, will you, umm, be my girlfriend?” he asks nervously.
“Oh my nandos, yes I will! Of course! Oh my god! Yes! Ahh!” you say, shocked but it excited at the same time.
You’re so happy you jump on his lap and give him the biggest hug and kiss ever!
In between kisses you say, “I love you Niall Horan.”
And he replies with “I love you too (y/n), I wouldn’t change you for the world,”
