'Hanahaki is such a bitch.'

Those were the words that run through Toms head as he sat among his best friend and crush.

He was wearing a white tuxedo, with an button up royal blue shirt underneath and a dark grey tie that matched with his pants and eyes, checkered vans on, even on formal occasions like these ones.

He had his hands behind his back, the black calfs complimenting his locks, no one gave attention to it though; everyone's eyes were on the couple Infront of him.

The couple Infront of him that held those uncontrollable, genuine smiles, their expressions ones of joy and pure happiness.
They both looked ecstatic.

In front, of them, at either of their side sat two crowds full of wonderful people that knew the engaged couple.
In the front row, sat Matt. A wide smile on the gingers lips, complimenting the frecles on his cheeks.

The sun shined through the yellowish looking glasses making the atmosphere loving and warm for the couple that was getting married.

Tom separated his lips and started to speak along the words that he had noted in his mind, remembering himself practising pathetically in his room Infront of the mirror, mocking low and deep voices and laughing at himself.

Though, at present time, his mind was blank.
It was as if the world around him was shut down, his own words muffled to his ears,
his eyes open, yet everything seemed dark, even through the blinding lights.

Hanahaki really is something else.

His poor friend had to suffer from such horrible disease. Tom remembered the scene as if it had played only some minutes ago,
how Edd cupped his neck with both of his arms, trying to push out all the flower petals that were stuck into his throat. They were red, matching the blood that was being chocked along, poured off his mouth, dripping and creating lines and blots down his chin.
How the flowers would disgustingly splat on the floor like a pack of raw meat.

And how he sat there in pure shock, unable to do anything but watch.

Really,
how could he forget?

Of course, after that he never left Edd by himself. Always being at the side of his best friend, supporting him even though it was uncharacteristic of him. When it comes to his friends safety, everything is worth it.

Thats right.
Everyone was by Edds side after his disease got out.
No one but Edd had a problem.

They were asking how Edd was feeling, he was indeed the center of attention.
Him, and the person responsible for the disease; Tord.

Speaking of Tord,
God, how beautiful he looked right now..
In that black tuxedo with his red button up shirt.
Tom could tell he had used hair gel on his horn looking style, his silver eyes sparkled, yes it was cliche, yet truth be told. They seemed to shine and linger with happiness, yet unbeatable excitement.
Oh how much Tom wished for that look to be directed towards himself.
He'd be dying to,
to have those eyes starring at him as often as he does to them.
How he'd beg to be the reason for those lips to smile, for his crushes thoughts to be filled with himself as much as his are with him.

God, so selfish, is it not?

He wanted Tord to himself, which is understandable. Its what lovers do.
Yet, Tom isnt his lover.
Wont ever be.
He is so selfish having those thoughts.

When Tord found out Edd was suffering from that obnoxious disease.
He never left him alone.
Tord made sure to give him all the love and support his heart owned.

Why did he do that only after hearing Edd has the Hanahaki disease? Some times, Tom felt as if Tord was pressured into this for Edds safety,
or maybe, thats what Tom wished for. That Tord didnt actually love him and was just an generally overall, kind person.
Such a selfish thought.
