«———————————————» The five girlfriends stood on the hot sand. The other four were complaining about it burning their feet and took offense when Grace said "You'll get used to it".
But she wasn't wrong, after awhile of walking up and down the beach, their feet grew used to it. The fresh air was great though. Living in the big city was fun, but not as much fresh air. Grace had talked so much about her home state, that her girlfriends basically knew every street by heart.
They knew each restaurant Grace loved as a kid, the best piers, and t best fishing spots. The way she had described everything made you tell she missed her home. Every time someone asked if she regretted starting a career that makes you move a lot, she instantly said no. Even if she loved this place, she loved adventure.
