third person's pov

'lee hana, you are impossible!'

hana's mother screamed like there's no tomorrow. she was caught using her mom's credit card by her maid, who she was glaring at. ah, if only looks could kill. she'd be 10 feet under.

'it's just a bag mom, nothing much. why are making it such a big deal?'

she chuckled cockily, not knowing what was coming her way.

'just a bag' wouldnt cost me 25 thousand dollars. thats it, you're-'

her mother was rudely cut off with hana's response.

'oh you have GOT to be kidding me? no! what the fuck? she cried.

it has been 16 years since she stepped foot in that country and vowed not to even think of coming back. she hate- no. she loathed that place passionately.

'language young lady! god what did i do for you to act like this! i have raised you well! i gave you everything you wanted. this is how you repay me? if only your father was her-' she was cut off once more when hana harshly snapped,

'but he isnt. if you want to throw me back to korea, then do it.'

her mom turned red, shock written all over her face and tried to reach out to her daughter but was greeted with the door slammed on her face.
she could feel the warmth of the tears as they rolled down her cheeks, ruining the make up she spent hours on.

'if only your father was her-'

'if only your father was her-'

it played and played and played in hana's mind. anger flowed through her veins, she wanted to punch her mom's beautiful face and dislocate every bone within it.

later that night, the maids were desperately knocking on her door, trying to get her out of the room- for dinner at least.

growing tired of the countless knocks and pleads, she grabbed a bag, placed her phone and wallet in and climbed out of her window.

she left the house without anyone realising. she wanted to bring her car along with her but mentally cursed when she knew that her mother had put in some kind of tracking device.

'that bitch. i guess i'm walking, fucking hell.' she whined.

she was planning on going the airport and fly all the way to korea. to get out of the country, to have freedom and to revive some memories. she knew she'd eventually regret the idea. but it was worth a try.

so she walked out of her division but due to the anger lingering, she went wherever her legs made her go to.

she didn't know where she was headed. she just walked and walked.

a few hours later,
she was starving- not having anything enter her stomach for the past 9 hours. she looked at her surroundings and she didn't know where she was. hana looked at her phone and nearly screamed out of frustration when it wouldn't turn on.

'fuck! i left my charger at home. just my luck.'

nonetheless, she continued walking until she gave up and decided to just take a cab. the thing is, it was
10:20 pm and she didn't know where she was. it would be challenging for her to successfully book a cab. her hands clenched, squealing in irritation.

she walked further down the alley trying to search for a taxi stand but instead, saw a figure.

she wanted to ignore it but her stomach was desperate.
