chapter 8 Damon's special

Ashley's pov
Damon started crawling and getting out of his crib. I was asleep and heard Damon babble and then a thud I tried to rush to get him befor he crawled through a sliver of sunlight that came threw the crack in the door malici thought he fixed it but he missed a tiney crack in the door I avoided it trying to grab Damon as he sits in the sunlight unfazed malici I screamed malici looked at our son how was playing in the sunlight unharmed malici tried to get him to crawl to daddy and mommy witch he gladly did. So neither of us got burned but if he was burning I would have grabbed him no matter what the coast. Malici and I looked at each other and both said day walker at the same time.

Malici pov
We will have to keep this a secret even from Damon if it gets out that he can walk in the sun then vampires will hunt him for his blood and the Vampire community will kill him. He will be the most wanted vampire in the world. I don't want our son to be hunted and killed for his blood but Damon is special.

Ashley's pov
Right keep this secret and tonight fix that crack so we don't have any accidents babe malici agreed with me Damon will live like a normal vampire we will never tell him the truth about being a day walker he is special and I want him alive Damon has all our strengths the only weakness he has is the thirst for blood. We will send him to a night school like all the other children. Malici we have to find Kevin and figure this out because I don't think Kevin was human if you know what I mean if he was we wouldn't have to hide our son. Malici agreed love I will go talk to him when the sun goes down what the address. I gave him his last known address and phone number so he could track him dow. I was worried for my baby so I rocked Damon back to sleep with a bottle of blood and put him in the crib asleep. We went back to our room and malici and I couldn't sleep so we made love and went to sleep. I woke an hour later headed for thw bathroom hoping I wouldn't like on the floor.

Malici pov
I heard Ashley abruptly jump out of bed head for the bathroom I followed her and held her hair so she could vomit. I king of smiled at her and she said what are you smiling at. The only reason vampires vomit is when they have been staked and I don't see a stake anywhere or your pregnant. Ashley smiled and said Damon is going to be a big brother.

Ashley's pov
I will call the doctor and have him do some tests I could have been me frightened for our child being in the sun light like a panic attack. Malici was already on the phone with doctor Benson who help deliver Damon was my doctor through my pregnancy. With in a hour doctor Benson was at the house and examining me and he said yup you are one almost two weeks pregnant. Witch means you have 7 weeks left. I was shocked malici was happy then Damon would have aomwone to play with they would be close in age. Damon is almost one he will be one gets old in a month.

Malici pov
We are having another baby iam so excited. Ashley looked a little sad I asked her love what's wrong I just hope you don't treat Damon different then thia baby. Love why would I treat my second born child different then my son. Ashley said I don't know I guess I was worried for no reason . now love I have to track down Kevin are you going to be ok. Ashley shook her head yes. I called the number Ashley gave me from the study and it rang finally a male picked up and said hello I said is this Kevin darkenson yes why. My name is malici matters owner of matters incorporated. I was wondering if we could meet I would like to know more about you say a hour meet in the park by the high school. Kevin was hesitant but agreed and within a hour they where in the
Park. Malici could smell Kevin was a wearwolf and malici stayed in the shadows and took off the wearwolfs don't get along with vampires. So I left to go home to my mate and child.

Ashley pov
I heard the down stairs door open and close that we quick I wonder if he found Kevin. Malici called me down for dinner ans had Damon's bottle ready for him with his dinner. Malici looked at me and said Kevin's a wearwolf that's why Damon is so special he's a hybrid all the streaths and only one weakness the thirst. I looked at malici in disbelief wearwolfs are real too?

Malici pov

I just laughed and told her that there's a lot of creatures that are real like us vampires wearwolfs fairy and angels are real. We aren't the only creatures that are super natural that igsist love. She looked at me with a horror on her face are aliens real too? I said none that I have seen personally so I would say no I have lived 154 years and never seen a alien so like I said I would say no love.

Ashley's pov

I felt kind of stupid asking about aliens but if everything else is real then I had to ask hi. If they where real too. Still no confirmation on the aliens made mw feel a little better. So excited about the new baby comming.
Damon was worrieing me a little because like malici said if anyone finds out they will be hunting him for his blood or go to the Vampire community and they will kill him. The vampire community dosen't like anything that is new or threatens there comfortable lives. So the best thing is to hide it even from Damon. Until we figure out how this took place.
