Cold sweat beads your face
As your heart begins to race
Twisting the covers in your hands
You start to wish your dreams were blandCoughing, choking, needing air
Trying to escape the evil lair
Crying, dying, praying for mercy
Only getting the answer of curse theeYou push and pull
Your soul feels so dull
With just a little trip
You begin to slipFalling, screaming, knowing it's the end
As you feel your body start to bend
Snapping awake with a bolt
Yelping out one high note
