20. She's gone?!

      Kara's prov

    "I'm finally am home." I say to myself in the car then get my stuff and shut the door.
     Mom I'm home I yelled when I came in the house but there was no answer and the door was unlocked. Which was really weird...

    I then went into my room and there was a letter the third letter! I went through the house and she wasn't there so I went back in my room and opened the letter.

     I hope you all have been safe. I know what your thinking why? Why did this have to happen, to you, your mom, why is everything the way that it is.

     I'm a dumbass and did shit, I regret bringing you and your mother into this... but I don't regret anything else.

   Sense your probably only thinking of letter 4 well might as well tell you. Your mom doesn't have letter 5. Someone that hopefully you will find will have that.

    I love you and your mom dearly you both I know for sure are in danger so... tell you mom to leave to the gang house, she could disappear at any moment and you wouldn't know so please do as I tell you.

I read over the last paragraph over about 4 times. The words kept repeating in my head "she could disappear at any moment and you wouldn't know" she's not home I kept panicking. I went downstairs and just sat there waiting...

    For her to get home... she didn't! Seconds, minutes, hours had passed... it was now around 4-5 am. I was in a in a ball in the corner.

   I finally got up and grabbed my phone... I called the only person I could think of my mom.

    Ring ring gin- reached Miss. Avery please fill free to leave a message... ding.

   I then hung up and my tears started up again. I was sobbing but I had to get her back I couldn't just leave her she's my mom!

   So I called Jase..

    Ring ring ring... Hello? He said to my in a morning voice which drove me insane but I pushed passed that. "J-j-Jase!" I said in a sob. "Hey calm down what happened.." he said sounding fully awake now.

   "Th-they, they t-took her, j-jace!" I said sobbing my eyes out. "Who, who took who?" He said confused but you could tell he had an idea of who 'they' were.
  
     "M-m-Mark they, they took her, my mom they t-took her Jase th-they took her away from me." I said balling my eyes off I thought my eyes were gonna pop out.

     Hey stay on the phone I'm on my way baby I'm on my way ok" he said in a worried and rushing voice. The whole time I just kept repeating 'they took her away from me!'

Soon all I heard was the door bust open and a bunch of voices. Then familiar arm rapped around me next thing I know we are on the couch and I'm sobbing into Jase's shirt which is now soaked with my tears.

    "Hey baby... it's ok we are gonna find her and kill all those motherfuckers." Jase says while rocking me. Which calmed me down enough to talk but I had to catch my breath.

   "I-i waited for hours!" I said trying to calm down. "I-I should have got here sooner, I should have read the-the note sooner." As I said that his face drained he moved me and looked to the corner I was sitting in and grabbed it.

   He read over it and he then looked at me and went upstairs... I was so confused.
