*In this imagine, you and Joaquin had just started a family.*

"Just keep pushing." The doctor ordered as you winced in pain.  You held onto the bed for dear life as Joaquin kneeled beside you.

"You've got this, baby.  I know you've got this.  Just keep pushing.  For me.  For us."

Eventually, little Crystal Phoenix was born and you felt whole.  You felt complete.  After a few hours you were holding your sleeping daughter as Joaquin had his arms crossed, his body leaning on the wall of the room.  He was smiling at the two of you.

"What is it?" You asked smirking.  He walked up to you and leaned near you and Crystal.

"Nothing.  Just enjoying us right now." You smiled and looked down at Crystal who was sleepy peacefully, her small body breathing heavily.

"Hey sweetheart." Joaquin said, looking at the baby.  "It's your dad. I know you won't remember this at all, but I want you to know that I love you so much.  And so does your mom.  We both love you.  Always and forever." He held your hand, rubbing your knuckles with his fingers.  "I will always love the two of you.  Trust me on that.  You don't have a choice in the matter anyway." You laughed as Crystal squirmed, cooing a bit.

"My Love..." Joaquin said, rubbing her cheek softly.  "Always and forever."

"I got her." Joaquin whispered as he got out of bed.  Crystal was crying for the past few minutes refusing to go to sleep.  For a four month old that's pretty tough.

You had gotten up twice, trying to feed her and you tried rocking her.  That seemed to work.  For about 6 minutes.  She then returned to her crying fit for about two minutes until Joaquin got up.

You heard him walking into Crystal's room, his baby voice growing as he walked into the room which was filled with baby things that Summer, Liberty and Rain spoiled Crystal with.

"Hey, sweetie." He cooed.  You decided to watch from the corner of the wall, your head peeking from the side.   You saw Joaquin hold little Crystal, patting her back and shushing her quietly.

"Shh, shh, I've got you." He whispered.  "I've got you." And then he started singing.  You haven't heard him sing since Walk The Line so you were a bit surprised.

"You say you're lookin' for someone
Who'll promise never to part
Someone to close his eyes for you
Someone to close his heart
Someone to die for you and more"

You loved that song.  Whenever you first watched Walk The Line, you wanted Joaquin to sing and you would sing along, even though you didn't have the best singing voice.

Eventually Crystal went to sleep, her little body snoring away as Joaquin out her down in her crib.  You smiled to yourself as Joaquin walked by.

"Didn't know Johnny Cash could put her to sleep." You laughed as Joaq shrugged.

"Thought I'd try something new for the little one." He said nonchalantly in his Johnny Cash voice as you rolled your eyes.

"You better not show her that movie until she's at least 13." You said being jokingly intimidating.  He smirked.

"As you wish.  I'll show her something else before then."

"Not that movie with you and the computer." You scolded before you both laid back down in bed, his arms now around your waist, his head on your shoulder.  He pecked your cheek as you rubbed his hand in yours.  He then rubbed your stomach a bit.

"Is it too early to have another one?" He asked and you could feel his smirk on his face.  You chuckled.

"Soon, love.  Soon." You assured, closing your eyes a bit.

"So right now?" He asked and you laughed shaking your head.  Starting a family with this man was the best thing to ever happen to you.

And you wouldn't have it any other way.
