Melanie's POV
I don't know when or how I woke up but when Chris blew his stupid air horn, I realized that I had no clue if Mal still loved me. I put on a white V neck and some pale blue short shorts, then headed out.
"Good morning, campers! The producers called and said the fans wanted more screen time from ya! So for this challenge, it's an individual because the teams are being merged!" Chris announced. Cue the dramatic gasps.
"But no one is going home!" Cue the cheers. "It's a singing competition!" He finished. "It's a What?!" We all shouted. YAY! FIREWORKS! I actually like to Sing! I'm not all evil. Plus no one knows I, we, whatever, went to Preforming Arts Institution.
"You have to sing a song longer than 2:30 and you must dress somewhat fancy. You have 2 hours to get ready. And Cat, the judges are being especially hard on you because you go to a Preforming Arts School." Chris announced.
"Thank you, Chris, for telling the whole world !" I said sarcastically. "You're welcome! Move, move, Move!" He yelled.
I ran back to the cabin and pulled out 4 dresses. One was a light pink dress with a sweetheart neck line, an aquamarine dress just like that, a navy blue glittery lace dress and a purple flowery sleeveless dress.
Zoey had made friends with Gwen and wherever Gwen went, Courtney came too. I heard them outside. "We can discuss what we're going to sing and wear inside if that's ok." Zoey said. They all came in and started discussing.
I decided I would wear the purple dress. I grabbed my other dresses and put them in Cat's bag. I grabbed my Ice Shine shampoo to make my hair shine, Gardenia lotion to give my legs a silky smooth look and my bath robe.
I went to the bath house and washed my hair then put in some curlers. I put on the dress and smoothed it out. "Damn... I look good!" I said. "Yes, you do, chica." I whirled around prepared to throw my high heel at someone.
"Calm down, señorita. I have a proposition for you. I want to serenade everyone with this song but it is a duet and I want you to help me." Alejandro said. "What song?" I said. "Feel This Moment." He said. "And you want me to sing Christina Aguilera." I asked. He nodded.
"What's in it for me?" I asked suspiciously. "An alliance." He said. "Hm... deal!" I said.
Confessional
"Keep your friends close. Keep your enemies closer." I said smirking.
I continued to the cabins with Alejandro and parted when he went to the good cabin. The girls side of the cabin was empty. Thank God! I saw a package on my bed, wrapped.
I opened it and saw it was the worlds most beautiful diamond necklace with matching earrings. There was no tag or anything. "Hmm..."
Confessional
"I guess Mal could have given it to me but he's not really that big a romantic." I said.
I realized I only had an hour to practice and do my makeup. I put on some strawberry Chapstick and did some natural makeup. I put on a large amount of Mascara because everyone looks better under stage lights with Mascara.
I took down my hair and clipped my bangs behind my head with a bow. I put on the necklace and earrings.
I decided I would sing Daydreamin' by Ariana Grande.
"Alright Campers, get your butts to the Chrisasium." Chris announced over the intercom. I didn't get a chance to practice with Alejandro. Uh-Oh!
Alejandro was wearing a purple button up shirt with leather pants, Cameron was wearing a tux, so was Scott and
