I awoke to rose at my bedside, i almost forgot what day it was, my second worst day of the year, my birthday, which is typical with my luck as today was also the "resheduled" reaping. they had changed the time's too as well as the date 10:00 sharpish.
it was 9:00,there was an hour to go, and i could already hear the heartbraking screams from next door.
She was in the corner, screaming, tears dripping off her beautiful little face. My father was trying his best to make her stand up and get changed, but she was stubborn, I told him to leave, I said i would sort her out, and i did.
It was as if Rose recognised my voice, like she did with my mother, she got herself dressed, in her little blue and white dress and we set off towards the justice buiding, we were surrounded by parents and children, it was my 5th year in the running, therefore my name is inside 20times.
I guess the odds arent exactly in my favour.
