I stared down out of my bedroom's bay window at the happy wolf couple and sighed. I WISH i could enjoy the feeling of having a mate. Nope. I'm stuck up here in the moon kingdom, with my mom...watching over everyone...it gets OLD. yeah the Kingdom is HUGE and beautiful. my room is pretty cool i guess. But there's so many things i want to try. I hear the familiar loud clacking of heels approaching my room. My mother walked in and stood besides me looking down at the couple like i was a minute ago.

"Aren't they adorable? " She said. I sighed and walked over to my blue princess bed.

"Very...hey mom...i was thinking...you know about school? I think its time for a change.. " my voice trailed. i began playing with the decorations on my quilts to keep me from being to nervous.

"Melinda isn't doing a good job? Very well I shall get you a new teacher"She spun on her feet and began walking to the door.

"No no momma Melinda is a wonderful teacher. I-I just.....i just feel its time for me to go to school with children my age..I wanna go to high school." I said. my voice trembled slightly. this isn't the first time i have asked her to attend a public school. she always says no. i heard her heels clicking and then the bed sunk a little when she sat next to me. "oh and um...I want a mate." I mumbled the last part. She giggled and i felt a pair of warm lips on my cheek

"Baby girl your not a normal girl." she began to play in my hair

"Neither are they...i'm just a little more different. They turn into wolves i turn into-" she cut me off

"Yes i know, but...i don't feel like your ready" she sighed and pulled my head down so i was laying on her shoulder.

"How old is ready?"

"You will know....when the time is right"

"You said that when i went into 3rd grade, and 6th grade...I'm now 17 years old, almost 18 mother i know I'm ready..i don't want to be stuck up here my whole life i want to go to...a mall or..a..um a video arcade! " my mother's eyes lit up.

"Very well, you will start with all the other teens in a week..as for the mate"she raised her perfectly arched eyebrow at me.

"MOTHEERRR!"I whined. She giggled

"I was just going to say you will meet him soon..your animal guardian will know." I smiled and gave her a big hug.

"Thank you so much! I'm so excited!..but wait...shouldn't everyone already have a mate?"

"Some don't have a mate...but i know who will be perfect for you" I blushed

"Whats his name?" Mom smiled

"No spoilers, everyone else had to figure it out themselves and you get treated no different. ..that's not how i operate, my little star.....now choose your destination." She snapped her fingers and a holographic image of earth appeared out of thin air. it slowly rotated.

"Um...well.. i have been watching the Americans a lot...they are an interesting bunch and i know more about them more than the others...so America...ooh L.A please!"She waves her hand in the air, swiping away the globe.

"Very well....rest my bright little star, you will need it" I bowed my head in respect and walked to my room. This will be amazing!
