Jumping from buildings

The two of them were so shocked from what just unfolded that all they did was sit there for awhile.

5 hours later

"Hey Scarlett..., I think we should leave" said Henry, "Ye I agree, but this place is surrounded by zombies" replied Scarlett.

"We should have a look outside again" said Henry,

So that's exactly what they did and found something very interesting.

"HENRY" Shouted Scarlett. Henry rushed over, "what Scarlett" he replied, "Look over there" as she pointed out the window. Squinting his eyes he saw a shop in the distance, "OH MY GOD THAT MAY HAVE FOOD" Said Henry.

"Ye but how do we get there" she asked,
He looked around and found a hatch to the roof,

He opened the hatch and stood on the roof. He took a deep breath in, and felt sick from the smell of rotting corpse's.

"Jesus Christ it smells vile out here" he said while heaving, "SCARLETT COME HERE" He shouted. She climbed up to the roof and sat down, "wait how do u not smell that?" asked Henry, "smell what...... Oh the smell of death and rotting corpse's?" She asked. "Yes" he replied, "well I used to work in a morgue so I'm used to the smell of dead body's and bloody corpse's" she replied, "that's both cool and scary" he said, "yep" she said.

They both started laughing for a few seconds after that they started looking around again.

"Henry look these buildings are really close we can probably jump it" Scarlett said, "b.. but that's a really big jump" he replied, "I can literally touch the wall with my hand" she said, "fine" he said while huffing.

She then noticed that most of the buildings where close enough to jump across towards the shop.

Henry went back into the building to get their supply's, while doing it he heard a load crack and then the growling of zombies getting closer.

"FUCK" He shouted in fear, Scarlett looks down and see's zombies rushing into the building, "Oh shit" she said, she then rushes down to help Henry.

"ARE YOU OK HENRY?" she shouted, "For now they are getting close tho" he said, I'll help u get the rest of the supply's

She grabs a bag and then they both climb onto the roof, after that they saw zombies flood the bottom floor, so they closed the hatch, and sat there for a few minutes.

"Ah fuck" she crises in pain, hey are you ok?" He asked, "Ye I just hurt my leg a again" she replied, can I see how it's doing?" He asked, "Ye sure" she replied.

She pulls back her trouser leg to show him.

"Holy shit are you sure you're ok" he said, "ye I'll be fine" she replied, "but you're leg is literally bleeding" he said, "I'll just wrap some cloth around it I'll be fine" she said.

After that she wrapped some cloth around her leg and the bleeding stopped.

"We need to get to the shop" she said, "yes especially since I think the zombies are dying to meet us still" he said with a grin.

They both laughed again, and then heard the banging of zombies of the hatch.

"Let's go" she said.

So they started jumping across the buildings like Mario characters having the occasional break, and sometimes looking inside the buildings for supply's.

"Hey Scarlett you won't beelieve this" he said while holding a jar of honey, "Ew that tastes horrible" she said,

So Henry just stands there holding the honey for a bit while thinking.

After a bit she grabs the honey throws it of the roof.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" He shouted "because it tastes horrible and you've been standing there for 30 minutes now" she replied, "I was thinking" he said, "oh.... sorry" She sighed, "it's ok" he said.

After that night began to fall upon them they decided to sleep inside the building till day.

In the morning they hear a unwelcome sound of zombies trying to break into the building.

"Good morning to you to" he said to the zombies, "hey how much water do we have left" asked Scarlett, "lemme check" he said.

He looked in the bags and saw two bottles of water left.

"We only have two bottles of water left" he replied, "shit we really need to get to the shop" she said, "I agree" he said.

They first had some food tho because they we're hungry asf, After that they then jumped across more buildings until they reached the last building to the shop.

"Damn that's a very big drop" said Scarlett, "yep" replied Henry.

While looking down she notices a zombie that looks very familiar almost like a friend,

"Henry....." Said Scarlett, "what's up" he replied, "Is that James.....?" She asked.

To they're dismay it was in fact James who was some how a zombie.
