Hello everyone! Here's another chapter, and more Kaien x Yagari. I hope you like this chapter! I really cannot wait to write more Zero x Kaname. But I also like Kaien x Yagari. I feel like they can keep each other balanced because they're like polar opposites.

"Headmaster?" Yuki walked into the kitchen. "Is dinner ready?"
The kitchen was filled with smells of various foods, and steam rose up from the stove. Both Kaien and Yagari were cooking.
"Almost! You and Kiryu, go take your bath and it should be ready by then."
"Alright." Yuki went into the bath, Zero going into the other bathroom.

Ten minutes later, Zero stepped out of the shower, grabbing the towel to wrap around his waist. He shook his head like a dog, water going everywhere. That had been just what he needed - a warm shower to clear his mind of everything that had happened today. He felt like he could finally think clearly.
He walked over to the mirror, grabbing a brush to run through his hair. Once that was done, he put the brush back and stared at himself in the mirror.
How could Kaname find him attractive?
"I'm the opposite of what everyone looks for in a guy. I'm tall, but that's about it. I don't have muscles - I'm skinny as hell. And I look like I'm sick all the time - I'm so pale."
He unwrapped the towel and proceeded to dry himself off.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose."
He walked over to where he had folded his pajamas and slipped his boxers and pants on, then began to button his shirt. He ran another hand through his hair.
"Alright. Dinner."

"Kids! Dinner! I think you'll like this."
Yuki and Zero came out. Yagari hovered in the kitchen, a smirk curving one side of his mouth as he watched Kaien serve everyone their dinners. His eyes mainly fixed on a bandage Kaien had put on his neck.
He had been reluctant to engage in anything in the kitchen, where the bubbling liquids and stove on meant someone could get burnt. But Kaien had persuaded him with a few kisses and then they had gotten carried away. Thankfully hickies could be covered with a bandage, though he hoped no one asked about it.
Especially Zero. Who was eating as if he hadn't all day.
And he was thankful no one had walked in on them.
"Headmaster," Yuki asked. "What happened to your neck?"
"Oh." Kaien's hand flew to his neck. He floundered for a few seconds before coming up with an answer. "I just hit my-actually, I have a better response."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Kaien sat down at the table.
"It's time we tell you the truth, Yuki."
"What do you mean, the truth?" Zero was just as confused as Yuki was. The gears were spinning in his head; he could see Yuki try to put together the pieces.
Yagari left the kitchen, sitting down next to Kaien.
"We've been hiding something from you."
"What?" Zero spluttered, finally understanding. "You mean you two are-"
"-Exactly." Yagari interjected, smiling. "We're dating."
Well, that explained what I almost walked into earlier, Zero thought.
"You're dating? " Yuki gasped. "Oh my gosh! For how long?"
"For three years. Roughly."
"Oh my gosh!" Yuki gushed. "Do you think you'll ever get married? I could be your flower girl, and Zero could be your...um..?"
"Best man?"
Yuki nodded.
"Well, maybe." Kaien dropped his head onto Yagari's shoulder and inhaled the scent of cologne, leather, and cigarette smoke. Utterly delicious, and utterly Yagari. "Only time will tell. But yes, if we ever choose to get married, you two certainly will be a part of it. You and Zero are our kids."
Zero's heart swelled. His mind was made up.
"Could I be excused? Just remembered, there's someone I need to talk to."
"Of course. Have you eaten enough?"
"I'm full. I'll be right back."
"Zero, can I come with?"
"No, I'm doing this on my own." Zero bit the inside of his cheek to hide a rare smile.
He hoped Kaname was taking visitors.

This is what happens when I listen to sappy songs on my laptop and be in a good mood for once (ace, you helped with that).
I hope you like this chapter.
