Chapt 2: It's Been a Week

Your Pov. 

Today is Thursday, June 13th. It has been a week ever since I started my job. I'm been doing a great job taking care of Rose's garden. She says that I'm doing a great job, but still acts cold around me. I want to ask why but she always leaves to do... whatever a Rose does around here. I have been mostly by myself working hard. I decided I'm taking a break today, maybe try to hang out with Rose and get to know her more. Rose at first didn't agree but agreed after since her garden is well taken care of. 

Right now I was wandering around the castle, taking in the scenery. They where many medieval items place around the castle, like knight amour and swords. The walls look old, like if this castle has been hearing for years. The crakes were covered by Roses stems cling onto the wall from top to bottom. I saw banners, mostly of Roses of all types. 

Many different types of Roses, I guess, float past me usually with another Rose at their side talking to them. I should have felt lonely, but I didn't. I got used to being alone ever since I lost my parents and sister. I rather not think about it, but it's going to be in my mind till death. I sighed of thinking of my loss of my loved ones. I walked up to a door and opened it, leading outside. The sun was bright, I had to hold my hand up to cover up the sun. 

I looked around the area and see hedges making the shape of the area. It had five columns. I see dummies of zombies at the end of the columns and in the middle is where the fence is. 

"I guess this is where the shooting range is," I told myself. I then heard a noise, like shouting when you attacking someone. I heard some shots of thorns from wands, someone must be training right now. I slowly walked to the fifth column where the sound is coming from. I slowly peeked in, and see Agent Rose, herself. She was practicing using her magic, the one that makes you slow down when you're in the red area effect. While launching her thorns after.

She stopped and breathed hard. Looked like she's has been here all day. I then slowly walked up to her, "Hey," I said. She shouted in surprise, making her throw her wand into the air. She tries to garbed her wand as it bounces off her rose petal hands. She then grabbed the wand and turns around giving me a not so happy look as she crosses her arms. 

"Oh... Uh... sorry," I apologize with a nervous chuckle. She didn't smile, "Don't surprise me like that again," She said aggressively. I nod, "Yes, of course, Ms. Rose."  

She sighed, "Whatever, what do you want?" she asked. "Oh, nothing. I just wondering around the area," I said. "But, I would like to hang out with you Ms. Rose," I told her. 

"You want to hang out with me?" She asked me, raising a brow. "Yes, I would like to hang out with you. Since it's been a week and we haven't got to know each other. Plus I'm working for you, might as well get to know you," I explained. 

She then thinks for a moment, "No," She said coldly. She then floated past me but I stopped her. "Why? It's been a week Ms. Rose, I token care of you Garden with great care and best of my ability," I told her. She then looks back to me, "I know, but your human. I don't trust humans," She told me in a cold tone. 

"What?! You don't trust me because I'm human?!" I asked her. "Yes, humans never cared about us plants just for themselves," She said. This made me a little angry, but I hold it in. "So, you don't trust Dave? After all, he's the one who created you guys," I told her. 

"His ancestors created us, and yes, I don't trust him and I'll never trust you," She said giving me a cold stare. "I did nothing, I tend to you gardens breaking my back so it can be perfect for you!" I shouted at her. "Don't you dare shout at me! I'm Agent Rose and your boss, know your place (Y/n)," she said as she left.
