Chapter 4

Violet's POV

I saw Christie and Lovelle at school. I hid behind the wall. I saw Lovelle bringing Christie to a room and threatened her ,"You better be my friend and not Violet's or else."

Lovelle showed a pen knife. Christie nodded and ran away ,weeping with tears. So it was just an act. I should have known. How could I be this stupid?

I have like 20 more minutes left before school started. I guess I'll read a book. I took out a book. When I was reading , Christie ran over and gave me a note.

It said :

Hi best friend ,

Yes , you are my best friend. Sorry I didn't give the attention you wanted from me. I'm sorry. Lovelle is threatening me to do so. I hope you can forgive me.
