Chapter 4: Venture Into The Deep

She knows that he would get scared and stop playing. Jayden is soon proven right because Mark gets scared and ends the game, but he doesn't say goodbye. By forgetting to say goodbye to the spirits, he opens a portal for Zozo to manifest into a black shadow rider. Shadow riders can jump from soul to soul just by a simple touch. So, after Mark stops playing, he falls into a deep sleep. Zozo is at full power because he has a new soul to feed off of, allowing him to control Marks brain and body. Mark's eyes suddenly open but he has a blank stare ... he's still asleep. He has no idea any of this is going on. Mark gets up out of bed and goes downstairs making his way out the back door. He walks the six miles it is to Mordue Cemetery. He wanders around in the foggy boneyard until he finds the huge mausoleum. He breaks in, wondering aimlessly to the back. Once there, Zozo leads him down a staircase made from crumbling stones. The staircase leads to the underground maze of catacombs. He walks and walks until he trips over a footstone. When he hits the ground, Mark awakes from his deep slumber. He has no clue where he is or how he got there. He looks around at the stone and it reads ''Here lies the sacred remains of Zozo''.
