Namjoon had left practice earlier than everyone else to get into the shower first. They'd been in the dance room for hours rehearsing for their upcoming performance at the MaMa awards. The performance there was the only thing on everyone's minds. Other idol groups, managers, stars, fans; they all would be there to watch BTS perform. Haters watching to see them fail. The members needed to give their all for the show. They all practiced nonstop despite their leader's protests to rest more.
Before showering Namjoon had demanded his team to take atleast an hour break. He'd left right after, so he wasn't sure if anyone actually took heed to it or not. Namjoon tilted his head back and closed his eyes letting the warm water rain over him. Jimin had been right. The first shower's water was the best. He grinned a little knowing that he'd get lectured by the mochi later for going in without telling anyone. It wasn't fair, but, honestly, Namjoon had never gotten to shower first anyway.
He'd figured he'd just shower quickly before the others got suspicious of where he had gone. The sound of the doorknob being jiggled slightly rang throughout the bathroom and Namjoon cursed under his breath replying with, "I'll be out in a minute." A few more seconds passed before the doorknob began to jiggle again, this time more vigorously. Namjoon slid the shower door open enough to peek out of. "I said I'll be out in a minute! Stop already." He said sliding the shower door back shut.
He reached for the water nozzles shutting them off muttering a curse under his breath. The bathroom door was pushed open slowly with an agonizingly loud creak following. Namjoon's head snapped to his right staring at a fogged figure through the misty shower glass. He wrapped his arms around himself feeling the cold air brush passed his skin. "Jimin..?" He called. The figure fiddled with something in their hands bringing it towards their face.
Namjoon blinked aggressively trying to focus his vision through the fogged shower. There were a few snapping sounds, like the ones an old camera would make, and an exaggerated exhale of air. "Jimin, this isn't funny. Atleast let me get out of the shower first." He spoke again. While he wanted so anxiously to burst out of the shower and pounce on the mochi, he thought better of it. The last thing he wanted was for JIMIN to see him nude.
The figure didn't respond to Namjoon and he'd started to get more suspicious and nervous. He figured the others were just trying to prank him.
'This feels like a horror movie..' He thought straining his eyes through the glass.
Namjoon pressed a hand to the glass and wiped away enough fog to be able to clearly see the intruder only to be met with the person's back as they began to leave. He only caught glimpse of a black hoodie with blue outlines. He couldn't recall any of the members whom had been wearing a hoodie during their practice.
'It couldn't have been the staff. Could it? They're not allowed to do something like this though. Maybe Jimin was toying with me..'
Namjoon walked back to his room with the event of what happened a few minutes ago on his mind. He still thought of the person to be Jimin, but knowing the dancer there was no way he'd just leave like that. Jimin would've laughed, said something atleast..
He stopped infront of his room to find that the door had already been left open. Maybe Taehyung listened to him after all and had taken a break from practice. The room was found to be empty though once Namjoon pushed the door open. He threw his sweaty clothes into his laundry basket and dropped into his bed letting his eyes flutter shut. He felt pathetic. He was already worn out yet the others were still pushing themselves. Even Jin hadn't rested yet. Namjoon felt horrible for wanting to fall asleep now.
He was their leader. There was no way he could abandon them now. He knew he needed to get up. Open his eyes and leave the room. Make his way back to his team, but his body felt paralyzed. Every muscle he used to push himself off of his bed only twitched and fought against him. His eyes would only allow him to keep them open for a few seconds before falling back shut again. "Damnit..." He muttered to himself.
