Nightmares

I know that this has been done a lot but eh I'll give it a shot too... Well, let's just write this story. IDK 😐

You were sound asleep and you were happily dreaming of Tom hugging you tightly in your kitchen telling you, "I love you," over and over again. But slowly you noticed that the words I love you were turning into I'll kill you. Tom saying, "I'll kill you..." Then he pushed you to the kitchen table and said, "you will die!" He then went to get a knife and he grabbed your neck tightly. He was choking you.

He grabbed the knife tightly and held it close to your throat. "Tom! Stop! What are you doing?! I thought you loved me..."

But fire and hatred was coursing through his veins for who knows what reason. And he just slit your throat... You screamed in agony. Blood was drowning Tom's hand and all he said was, "I will finally get you out of my life... forever." Then he stabbed your stomach.

You passed out.

You then woke up.

You were gasping for air. You started screaming and crying your eyes out. Tom - who was asleep beside you - shot up from the bed and quickly noticed that you were crying. Him, being the caring boyfriend, quickly gave you a hug. But that just reminded you of the dream. With all your force, you tried to push away Tom from you. But Tom was way too strong for you.

Then your heart rate started to speed up at a fast rate. You started to sweat uncontrollably and you started crying even more than before. You felt like you were going to pass out. You couldn't breathe.

"Hey hey hey, Y/N come back to me come back to me. Shhh calm down. It's okay. I love you." Tom said calmly. He gave you a firm kiss on your forehead. He exaggerated his breaths for you to breathe with him.

"Deep breaths Y/N. In and out." Tom breathed in and out. Slowly, you started to calm down. When you calmed down. Tom enveloped you in a warm, tight hug.

"What happened love? Why are you crying?" Tom gently asked. He wiped the tears rolling down your cheeks with the pads of his thumbs.

"I had a nightmare, and you killed me... You hated me. You said that I was finally going to be out of your life," you choked out. Sobbing uncontrollably. He then brought you into a long, passionate kiss. You started to calm down. When you guys separated he gently brought you into his chest. Hugging you.

"Y/N, I would never say that. I love you too much. You are the world to me and I would never, ever hurt you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I don't know what I'd do without you. I would feel empty inside, not knowing what love is. You showed me what love is and that it exists... You are my definition of true love. I wouldn't trade you for a planet made out of diamonds. You are priceless, and beautiful, caring, kind, funny, smart, and so many more things. It was just a dream, too bad for it to be true. Just always remember that I love you. I would never hate you... when you cry, I cry. When you suffer, I suffer. When you are happy, I'm happy. Everything that you feel, I feel. And right now I feel fear, sadness, and panic. But don't worry you're not alone. You deserve to be happy. And I'll help you do that. You just have to trust me. My love for you is unmeasurable. I love you..." he ended with tears. You then gave him a tight hug and cried with him.

"I love you too Thomas." You replied. What he said left you speechless and you couldn't believe how lucky you were to have him in your life. You started to fall asleep and Tom noticed. He gently and slowly brought you back down to the bed and, still holding onto you tightly, kissed you one last time before going back into the soft blankets of sleep.

"I love you Y/N. Never forget that." He whispered once you separated.

"I will never forget it... I love you Tom." You replied softly. He pecked your forehead firmly and you both fell asleep in each other's embrace, holding onto each other tightly.

The stars were brighter now brilliantly bright without our man-made light to dim them.
