We all turned to the door and the group looked between Sam, Will, and I.
"Wait." Carter said.
"Nice timing idiot." I told him and pushed past and walked outside.
"Taylor, come back!" Will said as he followed me.
*Sam's POV*
The room was super quiet."How was I supposed to know? When was the last time either of you talked to us?" Carter said looking at me.
"When they said there was a wedding, I thought it was the two of you. Everyone did." Nash said.
"Yeah well we broke up a long time ago. When she was in college." I said.
"Why?"
"It's really not that big of a deal."
"Obviously it is. She was telling me about it today." Gilinsky said.
"Then you know."
"She said that if you didn't tell, there was no reason for her to tell."
"Fine, you want the truth? I asked her to marry me. And she said no. And we broke up. You happy?" I said. Everyone looked at me shocked.
"Sam, I'm so sorry. I can't believe she said no." JJ told me with pity.
"Yeah, well now you do."
*Taylor's POV*
"Will, I'm really not in the mood to talk." I said."What did they mean? Why would you and Sam be getting married?"
"Because we used to date in high school. And I went to college and something happened and I never told anyone we broke up. And by the looks of it, neither did Sam."
"So you dated. And they thought you were marrying him. Why is that such a big deal?"
"There are reasons, shit you wouldn't understand."
"Like what Taylor? You need to talk to me."
"Please Will, I will tell you. Just not right now. Not when all of them are in there. I'll tell you later tonight." He groaned.
"Fine. I'm going to go back in. Take a few minutes if you like." I nodded and walked around the pool. I took a couple breaths and walked back in.
"Sorry Taylor." Carter said.
"Don't worry about it, it's fine. Well I guess I should introduce you to my REAL fiancé. Will, this is Cameron Dallas, Nash and Hayes Grier, Carter Reynolds, Mahogany Lox, Matt Espinosa, Taylor Caniff, Aaron Carpenter, and Shawn Mendes." I said, gesturing to each person.
"Hi, Taylor has been talking about you a lot. It's funny that I have never met you before."
"Yeah, I'm pretty surprised that we haven't heard from her since what? Like when you went to college?" Shawn said.
"Yeah I know. Imagine that."
"Well, we have missed you. All of you! We live in the same city yet we never talk!" Lox looked between the Jacks, Mallory, Leigh and I.
"I don't need to talk. Thanks to social media, I know where everyone has been." I said and they laughed.
"Oh well, congratulations anyways." Cam said to Will and I.
"Should we eat? The food is ready." Will looked at me and I nodded. He led the way outside before JJ said,
"Wait, Taylor." I stopped walking and went back to Jack.
"What do you want Jack?"
"Sammy told us what happened. Why? Why would you say no?" I sighed.
"Because it was my first year in college, I didn't want to married and have to drop out of college."
"You know Sam wouldn't have done that to you."
"You think I didn't know that?"
"No I don't think you did."
"Jack, Sam showed up after two months, and I get it, he was busy all of you were, and he asked me to marry him. What was I supposed to do?"
"Say yes? We all know you were way happier with Sam then you ever was with Will." I narrowed my eyes at Jack.
"Never EVER say that to me again." I raised my voice as I pushed past him and went in the kitchen only to see Sam standing there with Gilinsky.
*Sam's POV*
I went into the kitchen to get away from everything. Seeing Taylor with Will was awful. My phone buzzed.Camilla-Babe, are you going to be home tonight? I miss you
I ignored it. Even though I was dating Camilla, I really never loved her. I never loved any girl past Taylor. I wouldn't stay with one girl for more than a month. But I needed to move past it. Taylor clearly did.
"Hey Sam." I turned and Gilinsky was standing behind me.
"Hey Gilinsk." I gave him the nickname JJ and I have for him. A nickname for his nickname.
"Sam, are you ok?"
"Why?"
"Taylor. Will. Marriage."
"Would I be ok? I obviously still love her. How long have they been together anyways?" I asked taking a drink of water.
"Six months." And almost spit the water out.
"Six months?" I was shocked.
"Yep."
"She's marrying some guy she has known for six months? Oh god."
"Sam, you could talk to her. She has not dated anyone since you broke up. That I know of."
"She hates me."
"Really?"
"Oh sorry." Taylor's voice came from behind. I turned.
"Hey Taylor whats up?" Jack said and I whipped my head back to him.
"Nothing, can I help you guys?"
*Taylor's POV*
"Nothing, can I help you guys?" I asked avoiding looking at Sam."And I'm out. Jack, you know where to find me." Sam said and he pushed past me. I opened my mouth but watched him go.
"What, why is he leaving?" I turned back to Jack.
"Do you really need to ask Taylor?" I looked between Jack, the door Sam left, and outside where Will was.
"I'll be back." I told Jack as I ran out the front door. Not before I saw Jack smile though. I saw Sam's retreating figure down the driveway.
"Sam! Sammy!" I shouted down to him. He didn't seem to hear so I ran down the hill too.
"Sam!" I said again. He finally stopped. I caught up to him.
"What Taylor? Go back to your fiancé." He said.
"Stop saying that word."
"What fiancé? Why not? Six months it took you to love Will verse the three years we were together?"
"I was trying to move on! You can't blame me, you did too."
"What Camilla? Wow, they are certainly sparks flying there."
"Then why are you dating her?"
"Because I'm trying to forget! You are getting married and I can't stop that. But I also can't stop that I-" He broke off.
"You what?"
"That I obviously are still totally, helplessly in love with you."
*A/N*
From the point Taylor ran out of the house, I turned on music, and it was "Could you be the one" that started playing. Seriously?
