Chapter 21

"The 3 of us hate your mothers." Hades said. "No. We don't hate our mothers. They may be evil lunatics, but at least they stuck around." Mal defended. "Aww. Boo-hoo. Wake up and smell the stink. You think you've had it rough? I used to be god! I had an entire world which bore my name, and now I have nothing! You have no idea what that feels like." Hades argued. "Really?! Because for 16 years, we had nothing! (I know it was only 13 for you but deal with me here.) And now, we have a whole world but unless I get that ember, it's game over." Mal argued back. 

"Do you wanna make up for being a lousy Dad? Give me the ember." Mal said. "The ember only works for me." Hades said. "No, it'll work for me. We're blood." Mal said. Hades chuckled "Your only half Hades. The ember won't do everything for you that it does for me." Hades explained. "I'll take my chances." Mal said then Hades gave her the ember. "If it gets wet, it's game over." Hads explained. Mal did a back handed wave and left. "I hope you'll do better as a grandfather." Y/n quickly hugged him and then left. Hades immediately understood but decided to worry about it later. "Those are my girls." He said with a chuckle. "I guess that's the reason why he's always asking about you two." Celia said. "Evie is the only one who knows that he's our dad. And as far as I'm concerned, he doesn't even exist." Mal said. "Alright. Get in, get out. Jay, you good?" Mal asked. "Yeah." Jay replied. "Okay. Hold on." Mal said then Jay opened the barrier. Mal and Y/n got their powers back once outside the barrier. "Woah, you two got a little Hades' thing going." Evie said. "Wow." Mal said. "That thing packs a punch, huh?" Carlos asked. "Ha." Mal checked  out her new outfit (Yours is basically the same except color changes of your choice). Suddenly Harry and Gil made it out. "We made it, bro." "We made it." Harry and Gil celebrated and then they noticed the other six. "Hey, guys, we just came for a... wee visit." Harry said. then they started doing some weird pushing thing (from what I can process) before Mal dropped the ember. "No!" Mal yelled before a tentacle grabbed it. "Uma." Y/n whispered. "Drop something?" Uma asked.

"It can't get wet! Give it back before it goes out!" Mal said as Uma laughed. "Uma!" Harry and Gil said in shock. "That's my name." Uma laughed. "No!" Mal panicked. "Hi, boys." Uma waved on the other side of the bridge as Carlos held Y/n closer to him. "Welcome back!" Harry said walking to her side. "Uma. You swam off and forgot all about us." Gil said. "Yeah, planning her revenge, no doubt." Mal said. "It's not all about you, Mal. I was looking for a hole in the barrier, to let everybody out. And you what I found, boys? It's way better out there than we thought. There's this thing that looks like a furry rock called a coconut. And fish so big you could dance on their backs. And they've been keeping it all for themselves."  Uma explained. "Whatever. Uma, I need that to break a spell." Mal said. "Cast by Audrey, Sleeping Beauty's daughter." Carlos said. "Hmm, so the good guy's the bad guy? Well, I might not give it back. See what happens." Uma teased. "Uma, It's not time for games! People's lives are in danger!" Y/n yelled. "Guarantee me that every single villain kid who wants to can get off the Isle."  Uma said inching closer to Y/n to test Carlos' patience as he pulled Y/n closer and closer. "We can't do that." Mal said as Jay got in front of Uma as she backed up. "Can't do that. Well, how about now?!" Uma asked holding the ember above the water. "Deal!" Both Y/n and Mal yelled. "Deal." Mal said. "Uma! Her word is good." Evie said. "I'll still keep this... for the time being." Uma said tucking the Ember into her outfit. "Because if you think I trust you to save the world on your own, think again. This is a job for pirates!" The 3 of them laughed. "We can always go back to hating each other when this is over." Jay said. "Fine." Mal said. "Where are our bikes?" Jay asked. "Oh, yeah. We crashed them." Gil said. "Vrum (Whistle) Boom!" Harry imitated what happened. "Look at his face." Harry laughed. "Here's a thought. We could try to be friends. Put our history behind us and celebrate our differences. Yeah?" Evie asked. "Yeah." Y/n muttered. "Who wants gum?" Evie asked. 'Let's go." Uma said. "No?" Evie asked. " Ah! No. I'm in charge. Let's go." Mal said. Evie took a ball of gum for herself. On the way back to Auradon. "Say, maybe she was right. We should just forget our history-" "DON'T even try it, Hook." Carlos said putting his arm around you and pulling you close. "Plus I don't think you wanna deal with a baby." You said as Hook immediately sped up. You and Carlos fist pumped. In Auradon. "They're asleep. Everyone." Evie said. "I can't get to Ben." Mal said. "Or Dizzy or Doug." Evie said. "Or Jane." You said. "The signal's out." Carlos said. "Is that Auradon Prep?" Celia asked. "Yeah, and when everybody wakes up, You're gonna love it." Carlos said. "Score 400 for being a father." You whispered. "Yes." Celia whisper-shouted.
