Dipper walked around. He was scared and confused. "I-I..." He stared at his hands. "I never sinned." he mumbled to himself, his mind spinning like a carousel.

He could barely take a step forward. His horror filled brown eyes gazed at everything he could. Everything he looked at brought back the dreaded reminder of where he was. Dipper held his hands to his chest and walk around shakily and quietly. Dipper pulled himself together with a few deep breaths.

Dipper only walked for 10 minutes but it felt like 10 hours. He felt sadness with every step crash down onto him like a wave.

He went to a crowd of demons to try and blend in, not wanting his fear to be obvious. He was sure it was. The crowd was watching a bunch of TVs in a shop window as a blonde girl was jumping around singing on the news. He raised a brow and slightly listened. Everyone else was getting a kick out of her. He didn't think she was that bad. When she was done everyone cracked up and the other blonde on the TV started trash talking her.

Dipper was so confused. He managed to work up enough courage to turn to the nearest demon. "What was she going on about?" He said barely about a whisper.

The demon, still laughing, spoke. "Some stupid hotel for redemption." he cackled

"Redemption?"

"You know to go to heaven." A second one piped through a chuckle. "For the princess of hell she seems pretty stupid."

Dipper's eyes got slightly wide. "Princess?" he whispered. He quickly ran off from the crowd. "I can get to heaven?" he asked himself and looked around. He quickly searched for the hotel she sang about. It could be his last chance of getting to his sister. He asked around but every demon he asked didn't answer. Instead they flashed him some insult.

After maybe an hour he began to loose hope in ever finding the hotel. Just as he thought that a loud crashng sound came from a strange building. Dipper looked up and towards it. He saw a light up sign that read 'Happy Hotel'

Dipper's eyes lit up. He grinned and ran towards it. He had found it! He could see his sister again!

The excitement swelled up as he went to the door. A large whole was in the front but he forced himself to ignore it. The feeling of dread and loss was drowned in hope. Dipper knocked on the door as quick as he could.

After a few seconds the blonde girl from the news opened to door. A taller red demon with antlers peeked out from above her with a wide grin.

"H-Hi I'm Dipper. Um, I saw this place on the tv earlier?" The girls eyes completely lit up. Dipper stared at them.

The sadness came back. He remembered how Mabel's eyes would light up to almost every little thing. "Are you here for a room? For redemption?"

Dipper looked up at the red demon who's grin got wider as if awaiting his answer.  He then gave the two a simple nod. "Yes. I want to go to heaven."

The girl squealed excitedly. "Well I'm Charlie! Don't mind the Radio Demon. He works here." She said dragging Dipper inside of the hotel.

"The Radio Demon?" He asked confused.

"Vaggie can explain later. Oh! Speaking of! That girl over there is Vaggie! That's Nifty! There is Angel Dust! Then Husk!"

Dipper looked at each demon in the hotel and they all looked at him.

"I'm Dipper." He said a bit quieter than before. "I'm just looking to go to heaven."

Angel Dust flashed him a suspicious look. "Why would ya want to be redeemed babe? This place ain't half bad ya know. No sinner really wants to leave."

Dipper figured that's why every other demon laughed at Charlie's song. Why everyone thought it was a bad idea.

"Now why most sinners may not seek a better inner self some may!" Alastor said. "Alastor dear it's a pleasure to finally have someone come to the Happy Hotel as our first guest!" He said grabbing Dipper's hand and jerking him close.

"Hey!" Angel snapped since he was technically the first.

Dipper looked at Alastor then Charlie who quietly talked to her girlfriend. "I don't want to stay long...I just want to get to heaven."

"Hmm..." Alastor said letting go and grinning more.

"Why don't we start with what your sin was?" Vaggie suggested walking over.

Dipper thought for a minute then sighed. "That's just it. I'm not to sure. I murdered a man-"

"That'll do it." Angel piped in. "How long ya been here anyways?"

Dipper looked at his hands. "Just today." he admitted.

Alastor cackled softly. "Then this should be quite easy!!"

"Ey weren't you bout to cook or somethin'?" Angel asked him crossing his arms. His second pair of arms balled into fist on his hips.

"I just remembered something that may be a sin." He said interrupting them all.

They turned to looked at him. Dipper looked up slightly. "I made a deal with Bill Cipher."
