Ep. 3 - Demon Camp (3)

"I can't believe that guy! Who the hell does he think he is!?" Death, the middle child. protested with his arms crossed.

The 6 hybrid brothers were outside of the infirmary. Their sister, Spirit, got into a little quarrel with Ty, the boy from earlier. They tried to help Spirit and get away with it, but the staff had caught them and took Spirit to see the nurse instead. Spirit had got minor burns on her palms and arms.

Venom, sitting in a waiting chair, along with his younger brother, Death, added on.
"Yeah man! Next time I see that asshole I'll give him a real piece of my mind!-"

"No you're not."
Growled Niko. He was standing, leaned against the wall beside the infirmary door. He snarled at his younger siblings as he went on.

"That fiery jackass has been here longer than us, we got here literally 4 hours ago if you haven't realized yet! This hell hole probably has ranks and boundaries- meaning that red-headed bitch has to have enough balls to go and attack some stranger he didn't know.."

"Meaning, he most likely has a higher rank, right?.."
Comet questioned as he piped into the conversation. He was sitting cross-legged on the floor next to Niko as he looked up and around.

Niko nodded. Then Ember, the youngest brother, spoke. "That also means we can't just go up and attack him because—"

"He'd get backed up by other high ranks and there'd be an even bigger problem.." Toxic, Venom's twin, finished.

Niko sighed and nodded. "Exactly...we don't want a bad first impression either."

Venom bounced from his chair, glaring at his brothers. "Oh cmon! you guys are a bunch of pussies! I honestly expected better from you, Toxic!!"

Ember groaned, standing. "Shut up you dumbass, that nurse is literally on the other side of the door.."

Niko huffed and stood up right, glaring at Venom. "Venom..."

Venom barked, getting closer to Niko. Toxic grabbed Comet from being so close, pulling the blonde boy back from the quarreling.

"Oh cmon Niko, who the hell cares about ranks and shit!? Our little sister got attacked by some cocky asshole and you're worried about the first impression?!—"

Niko barked back at the hybrid boy, eyes glinting a deep red as he grabbed Venom by the front of his shirt. "I KNOW OKAY!? NOW SHUT THE HELL UP AND LET ME THINK BEFORE I BLOW YOUR DAMNED HEAD OFF!!"

Niko's sudden outburst caused everyone to go quiet. Niko inhaled and huffed again, causing his eyes to stop glinting the color they did. He was still upset although since he still kept a grip on the front of Venom's shirt.

"Venom- I know what to do..I know how to handle it- do not let some idiot child make you loose your goddamn sense! Father told us to get our act straightened while we're in here, so do it!"

And with that last retort, out came the nurse. She was a beautiful, dark skinned woman; Curvy body shape and a large, dark blue Afro, dark sea blue eyes to match as she glared at the boys. Her golden name tag engraved "Adair".

Niko shoved Venom away, growling, turning to the nurse with a complete change of attitude. His anger turned into a more calm expression. "We're Spirit's brothers, ma'am. We are here to see if she's well recovered?" Niko said, clearing his throat quite nervously.

The nurse then smiled. "Oh! You mean the adorable little girl that came in? Her burns were quite bad, but we covered it with ointment and bandages."

Niko's eyes grew a bit wide. "C-Can we see her?"

"Of course! Though, I wouldn't recommend all of you going into that little room. Maybe the two eldest could go?"
