"Ack! Guh..." She coughed up blood mixed with spit. She yanked on her shirt, gripping it tightly. Her heart and lungs were on fire. In her feeble condition, no one would think she was alive. Tightened lungs, closed throat, nor an airway.

Someone injected something into her mouth, suddenly, she felt increasingly better.

"Feel better, huh?"

An individual grabbed her chin roughly to make her look up, but she was far too weak to even lift her own head. Whoever it was, they began to beat her up in a fit of rage. Kicking, punching and even choking.

"Caven, that's enough!"

She finally managed to open your swollen eyes and saw two people. Caven and Levi's Uncle he mentioned to her before, Kenny.

"Get lost, Caven. We have better things to wait out on."

Caven stomped away from her beaten-up body. She suddenly felt wrinkly hands straighten her body upwards.

"Sorry 'bout that, missy."

She felt a rough rag drag across your face. She couldn't see how bad she looked after being beaten, but she could feel the blood flowing down her entire face.

"Anyways, what's your name weakling?" Kenny asked while kneeling down to wipe off the remaining blood off her face to look at least somewhat decent.

Knowing Kenny is more than likely still a serial killer, she answered frightfully. He could kill her in less than a second.

"(Y/N)..." She stuttered while looking down upon avoiding eye contact with him.

He stood up and leaned against a pillar. She finally opened her eyes all the way and saw beautiful pillars that reflected light colors. It was breathtaking.  Shiny, sparkly, and glossy.

"Hey, I have a question for ya."

She unhurriedly focused her attention to him, not making great eye contact, but apparently good enough for him.

"What are you to Levi?"

"Levi?" (Y/N) asked while shifting herself into his left side in a comfortable position

"Levi?" (Y/N) asked while shifting herself into his left side in a comfortable position. She's so cold that he offered to lay down with her even though she's still a little sick from their last expedition for the day.

"Yeah?" Why does his voice have to crack revealing that he's not okay? She took notice right away, then draped her right arm over his torso, gripping the fabric tightly.

"Remember, I'm still here. Don't give up, please, Levi. Do it for them, if not me, for them." She strained each sentence, emphasizing the importance and pointing out the self-loathing he has for himself.

He couldn't hold back my sorrows anymore. Just her clutching his shirt made him want to cry a tsunami.

He let it all out.
