Chapter 2
I woke up to this obnoxious pound at my door, only 2 pounds. I figured it was Mason. I flopped over my covers like a burrito not bothering putting on my slippers; I didn't want to keep him waiting outside. I quietly walked across the cold wood floor, why is it so cold? It's only August. I made my way to the door managing to jab my hip on the bar. I was holding my side while grabbing for the door, I opened it. "What happened," Mason asked. I replied with, "The wet bar."
"Well are you okay?" Mason asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine, come it before you get me cold," I joked. He smiled. I smiled. God I love Mason. He has dirty blonde hair that always falls in just the right places, he's tall, his smile can cure my hiccups, his eyes are so pure I can almost see my complete reflection; Mason is the perfect guy. When Mason started to walk in, I stared at him and tried not to smile. What? He gives me a weird feeling in my stomach, but it is a good feeling.
I think I made it obvious because he smiled and pulled me close to him and we just stared at eachother, it was not awkward one bit. I loved it. Mason leaned in for a kiss, I pulled him back through the house and into my room. Mason didn't resist. I closed to door softly being careful not to wake anyone up.
Mason pulled me onto my bed, "I Love you Autumn," he smirked. "And I love you." I laughed. I felt like Hazel Grace from The Fault in Our Stars; I have my Augustus, and he's not going anywhere. Mason is a perfect resemblence of Luke Hemmings which I loved. Before I could come back to Earth from day dreaming, Mason was on top of me kissing my neck. We haven't done the deed, as much as I want to, I can't. Mason reached up to my lips and layed a hard passionate kiss. I was smiling, I felt serene.
We kissed a little more until I whispered, "so about this runaway..." I smirked. "The runaway," Mason sat up.
"Did you tell Peeps?" Mason asked.
"Yes, I texted her right after your last text," I explained.
"She's okay with it?" Mason scooted over to me and kissed me, he grabbed the back of my neck. Here comes the stomach feeling again; what the hell.
"Yeah, surprisingly," I whispered, trying to keep it quiet.
"Oh. Okay," Mason whispered back. "I love when you whisper to me," Mason laughed.
We sat up again. I sat at the foot of my bed with my legs crossed holding my foot, he sat up agains the head of my bed on the headboard with his legs crossed. "I have about $42 for the run," Mason said.
"I may have $5," I added, he smiled.
"Did you know if you add chalp stick to a paper cut it wont let it bleed?" Mason asked.
"No?" I laughed.
I guess we fell asleep because I woke up in his arms on my bed. I looked at the clock, it read 8:26am. Peeps would be here soon. I looked at Mason, he looks like an innocent untroubled boy. I mean, he is innocent but people don't think so. Mase looks like an angel. My thoughts go back to the murder... it must've been someone who knows who we are that said it was us; they wouldn't of just made up random names and 'oh look! they're bestfriends.' It doesn't work that way. What if they murdered that kid? Who knows?
Peeps knocked on the door at 9:01am, Mason slowly woke up from the knock, he yawned and looked at me, "Goodmorning beautiful," He smiled. "How was your sleep?" I asked as I was getting out of bed to go get the door. I was careful not to jab my hip this time. I slowly opened the door. "Hiii!" Penelopee greeted and walked in.
