mattia is overly affectionate at midnight. he's half-awake with a dazed smile, giggling. one of his arms tightens around kairi while the other is playing with his fluffy hair.
"your hair is so soft..." he says in awe.
"yup." kairi yawned, eyes closing.
"you're soft in general, deadass. so cute-" kiss. "adorable-" kiss. "-perfect." kiss. he finished, tracing his fingertips around kairi's face. "love you."
"you're weird," kairi mumbles, heart fluttering. mattia only chuckles and keeps it up. "sleep." he says. and kairi does, a faint smile on his face. kairi loves those nights.
