The sky outside turned into a breathtakingly mix of beautiful colours, velvet and blue, when kai walked back to pick kyungsoo up.
The first day of the festival almost ended.
And kyungsoo had a practice for the second day.
He wanted to practice until dawn to make sure everything was perfect.
Kai was so worried about him and went off to pick him up even though kyungsoo didnt want him to.
The gymnasium was the place where Kyungsoo was practicing.
Kai currently smelled fresh and of the soap he used from showering.
In his right hand, he carried a cup of coffee, and in his left, a latte for his dear boyfriend.
Kai walked up stairs carefully, one at a time, making sure the coffee he was holding would not spill.
When his feet finally touched the highest stairs, he looked up and dumbstruck by the view for a second.
The sunlight from the setting sun filtered in beautifully through the big glass windows of the gymnasium.
There was a group of dancers from dance class practicing a contemporary piece in the middle of the huge gym.
Preparing for the festival.
Kai walked around the gym slowly in awe. He looked around, amazed. For that moment, it seemed as if everything froze and he could see everything at once.
"Kai,what are you doing?"
This surprised Kai and he jumped a little.
"Kyungsoo hyung..are you done with your practice?"
"Yeah..by the way, is that coffee for me? I'm super thirsty,my mouth feels like a dry bacon."said kyungsoo as he took the latte from kai's hand.
He drank everything in one go.
Kai was still looking at the dance class.
They were doing some sort of formation.
"So,what are you staring at?"
"Hm?nothing.."
"Hooo~ really?"
Kyungsoo started to hum a song.
"Its nothing,hyung."said kai nervously.
Kyungsoo moved his shoulder along to the tune he was humming, which was getting louder.
He was about to open his mouth when Kai clamped his hand over his mouth gently.
"Ya~ youre so mean.."said kai blushed.
Kyungsoo just giggled and drank kai's coffee too.
"So,what is it?"
Kyungsoo repeated his question.
But kai got zoned out again.
He stared at the dancers in the middle of the gym, entranced.
Kyungsoo pouted and grabbed kai's wrist.
Kai looked up, startled, but followed him.
"What are we going to do here?"
"Well, this is the place where there is only us and we can do whatever we want."
Kyungsoo started to move the paintings aside, making more space in studio room.
Kai just sat in the chair,looked at his precious lover.
