The Legend (Optimus Prime x OC)

Present Day

The streets were lined with cars, the sidewalks with people, and the sky with rain. It has been raining for hours now and Rose was soaked to the bone, with no shelter and no jacket. Rose walked along the sidewalk as she was looking for a place to stay, but her stomach growled in protest. She put her hand over her stomach to try and make it stop since she really did not feeling like eating at the moment, main objective is to find shelter first. Rose stopped at an alleyway which seemed to be empty, good sign. She glanced around at everyone who seemed to keep on walking and minding their own business, huge sigh of relief. She walked into the alleyway and looked around, please be something. the alley was dark and cold but thankfully empty, another relief. Roses eyes landed on a box that was on its side by a wall and it seemed to be dry too. She walked over to the box and peeked inside to see it completely empty and dry, also it was her size. 'Finally out of this rain' She thought to herself as she climbed inside and plopped down onto her side to get comfortable, might as well. The rumble from within her stomach continued while she looked out the box at everyone that walked past the alley, mostly families. Does she even have a mother and father? That is all Rose thinks about while trying to survive on the streets, but does she? The last thing she knows is that she wakes up in a lab with people white coats all around her, torturing her. Rose groaned as she shook the flashback away and layed her head down on her arms, her eyelids falling. The rain that fell from the sky was lullabying her to sleep, very sleepy. Just as she was about to fall completely asleep a car pulled up, headlights on. Rose opened her eyes and peeked out of the box to see all four doors of the car open up and people get out. Gang Members. It was night time so that may be an advantage that they won't see her, there is also bad news. Bad news is that her  glow in the dark, and that is bad. One of the members spotted her when she was getting out of the box "Hey pretty lady let's have some fun." He chuckled out. They were advancing on her. Rose narrowed her eyes "Stay back, I'm warning you." She hissed out as she took a step back. The male stepped forward about to lay a hand on her but she blasted him back with a  to the chest, sending him flying back for his friends to catch. uh oh. Rose took another step back as they looked at her and glared 'get her!" they yelled out. Rose bolted out while they got into the car to chase after her. Where is she going to go? She panted while she ran not caring where she ran as long as she tried to escape these guys, more bad news? She was running straight towards a military base, how can she tell? There are soldiers telling her to stop and she isn't stopping, hell no. Next thing she saw was being handcuffed and put against the wall to be patted down, definitely not good. Then there came the voice of yelling and ordering around. This day couldn't get any better than what it already is.

        *Lennox P.O.V*
18 years. It has been 18 years since the whole incident with Sarah and their daughter, almost 19 years. I have not stopped searching for her because I don't believe that she was dead, I refuse to believe it. I was inside the N.E.S.T base making my rounds around when I heard someone call my name. . I sighed and turned to look up at the huge black bot "Yes Ironhide?" I asked to see what the grumpy mech wanted, it's just the way that he is. Ironhide kneeled down so he could speak better with his charge, he looked disturbed. "captain Lennox, you seem disturbed. what is bothering you?" He asked in a gruffy tone. I knew somehow someone was going to ask, I haven't been acting happy or normal in 18 years. I shook my head "It's nothing to worry about Ironhide." I assured him, turning to walk away. By that time I heard him transform and felt a hand on my shoulder to stop me, what now? Ironhide stepped in front of me in his  and a serious expression on his face. "Lieutenant Lennox" He stated once, guess he has me now. I sighed heavily "Ironhide it has been 18 years, almost 19. I'm starting to loose hope." I explained to him, hope he is happy now. Ironhide blinked once before walking beside me, following after me. "Lennox you will not. I may not know who she is but I do know that you will find her, dead or alive." he addressed as we walked side by side around the base, not really helping. "Ironhide there is no point in searching anymore, What If she really is dead? Then it would be my fault for letting them take her away from us. I haven't even held her, not once." I muttered as I stopped walking, running my hand through my hair. Ironhide apparently didn't take that kindly and pushed my back against the wall "Lieutenant Lennox, You will continue to search for your sparkling. You will not give up until your last breath, do you understand?" He demanded from me, his tone not a happy one. I just nodded and he released me, thankfully. By then I heard some of the soldiers outside screaming their heads off, what was going on now? I signaled Ironhide to follow but he was already walking ahead of me, probably wondering the same. The both of us walked outside in the rain and already getting soaked to see them aiming their guns at a girl they had against the wall and handcuffed, what did she do? one of the fellow soldiers walked over "Sir she didn't stop when we told her to, she has nothing on her." He addressed me, very strange. I walked over to the girl who they now had sitting down on the ground. I kneeled down in front of her to get a better look at her, what I saw surprised me, no shocked me. The girl had red eyes and a . Could this be her? I was frozen as all these thoughts went through me, please be her. "Take her to Ratchet to see if she has any injuries, then the interrogation room." I ordered as I stood back up then rushed inside to go to the medical bay, Ironhide right behind me. I entered with the girl right behind us shaking like a leaf, poor thing.  seemed to get the memo and picked the girl up very gently so he can examine her. She looked scared to death at seeing a huge ass robot in front of her. A million prayers went to my mind as I am pleading and praying that this is my daughter, I haven't in days. Ratchet took a sample of her blood and went to go examine it to see what the results would hold. "Take her to the interrogation room. I will be there in a minute." I told Ironhide, rubbing my eyes. With a nod he took the girl by the arm and took her out of the Medbay, please let this be her. I exited the doors and went straight for the room.
