Chapter 26

Myricle's POV -
"They said that they arrested Jacob already so you can calm down girl." Sade said wrapping her arms around me.
I have been on edge lately. Part of the reason is because of Diggy being in the hospital and the other part is Jacob being on the loose.
I sighed out of relief. "Thank god."
Part of me wish he was still on the loose so I could kill his ass myself but I'll just have to let the guys in prison do their job.
"You need some rest girl. Not eating and not sleeping is getting to you." Crystal said sadly.
I rolled my eyes.
"I can't sleep while Diggy's away." I mumbled with tears falling down my face.
The rest of the family was still at the hospital but I wasn't because I couldn't stand seeing Diggy up in the hospital like that.
They both sighed while leaving the room.
My mom brought them over to check on me while she was at the hospital.
Lea's POV -
Midnight
I walked in Myricle's bedroom to see her wide awake.
"What are you still doing up?" She questioned me.
"I should be asking you that. You haven't slept in days." I replied back smartly.
"I can't sleep when Diggy's not here." She said with more tears coming out of her eyes.
Mom & I are staying with Myricle till Diggy gets better.
"He's gonna be okay..I know he's gonna be fine. He's strong just like daddy was." I replied referring to our dad who died fighting in a war.
She nodded and gave me a small smile. "Yeah he's strong like dad."
I don't know why but she started to close her eyes slowly.
"Myricle are you okay?" I asked her scared.
She didn't answer me.
"Maybe she went to sleep." I thought to myself.
I reached over and shook her arm hoping she would wake up.
She didn't.
I panicked not knowing what to do.
I ran downstairs where mom was laying on the couch with the tv on sleep.
"Mom wake up!!" I shook her until she responded.
"What baby?" She asked tired.
"Myricle won't wake up!" I screamed getting her attention.
She shot up from the couch and ran upstairs with me following behind her.
Once we made it to the room she checked to see if she would wake up and then checked to see if she was still alive.
"She's still alive c'mon." She said picking Myricle up and walking to the door downstairs.
I grabbed the keys as we walked outside putting Myricle in the back seat.
"Buckle up." Mom said speeding off before I could.
Mom was just as sad as me when she saw Myricle wasn't waking up.
I hope my Myriclewhip is okay. 😞
