My Prince Loki

Chapter 9

I know, I suck, I haven't posted in ages, but i have about fifty million HW assignments, and they are all horrible, but i will try and be quicker.

Ok, this bit was sort of rushed during English class instead of writing my essay, so it only sort of makes sence, but here you are!

We met Thor near Loki’s position, peering around the corner I caught a glimpse of his cape fluttering in the wind on top of Stark tower.

“Ok, I’m going up there to try and talk to him, I want you guys to cover me, stay in my sight, but when Loki sees me, back off, leave. I don’t want him to feel threatened.” Everyone nodded; Captain walked up next to me and grabbed my arm, using the other to cover us with his shield. We ran across the large space and into the lobby of Stark’s building.

“Thanks Cap, stay in front of me when we get to the stairs, I don’t want to get shot by one of those things.” He nodded and we jogged towards the fire escape, a blast behind us sent us sprawling. We jumped to our feet and sprinted for the stairs, Cap had his shield up, blocking the blasts that were sent our way, and I shot the beasts that tried to kill us. It took us twenty minutes to reach the roof; we walked out of the fire escape and crept across the floor to the window. I spotted Loki watching the destruction with a grin spread across his face, I signalled to Captain to fall back, he jumped off the ledge, only to be caught by Stark and taken safely to the ground. I slowly walked up to Loki.

“Loki?” I asked, he spun around to face me with his sceptre at the ready, then he saw me, he dropped his sceptre and walk up to me quickly.

“Faven, I, I thought you were dead. I saw you, and I heard you scream.” He said in disbelief.

“I was only unconscious, sweetie, and its ok.” I wiped away the tears that had slipped down his cheeks he seemed shocked that they were there. He grabbed my wrist and held my hand to his cheek, his eye slid shut.

“Sweetie, could you do something for me? It’s really important.” He opened his eyes and looked at me.

“Anything, I’ll do anything for you.” He replied, pulling me closer to him.

“Can you stop this, stop this war, this madness, please Loki, please.” I looked him strait in the eye, searching for some remaining humanity, and then he nodded.

“Like I said, I’ll do anything for you.” He turned around and shut off the portal, he even helped us finish off the last of the Chitauri.

I walked down to meet up the team, hand in hand with Loki, they made to grab him but I stood in front of him.

“Oh no you don’t, you keep your hands off of him.” I warned, they backed off, holding their hands up. A helicopter landed and Fury stepped out, he was holding a pair of handcuffs.

“Faven, I don’t care what you say; he has to have handcuffs on, just to be sure.” He said handing me the cuffs, I took them and turned to Loki, he held out his wrists for me to put them on. I left them a bit loose so they wouldn’t hurt, I passed the Tesseract to Fury then we all got in the helicopter and left.

It was time for Thor and Loki to leave and I was almost in tears, I didn’t want them to leave. I was sitting in a car and I saw them preparing to leave, it was too much and I did burst into tears. Fury walked up to the car and opened my door.

“Do you want to go with them?” He asked, I looked at him confused, “do you want to go back to your home with Thor and Loki, speak now, it might be a while before you get another chance.”

“Really, you mean it? I can go with them?” He nodded; I hugged him quickly and jumped out of the car, running over to the Asgardians.

“Thor, can I go with you?” I asked desperately.

“Of course you can, everyone would love to see you again, and they don’t even know you’re alive.” I smiled and turned around to say good bye to everyone, I hugged Romanoff then Barton, Captain and Stark, much to his displeasure and Banner gave me a handshake, but after I jumped on him and hugged him. I walked back to Thor who told me to place my hand on the Cube, Loki was holding one side and Thor the other, Thor twisted his end and we were enveloped in a blinding light.

We landed in the Palace Gardens, I looked around in shock, I couldn’t believe I was home, after so long. Thor and I lead Loki to the All-Father; I walked behind Thor so I couldn’t be seen.

“My sons, you have returned.” Odin’s voice boomed out, echoing around the room.

“Yes father; and I found more than just Loki in Midgard.” Thor replied.

“What do you mean, son?” I stepped out from behind Thor, everyone in the room gasped.

“Faven, is, is that really you?” Frigg asked, running up to me and engulfing me in a hug, I hugged her back, smiling. She let me go, only to be replaced by Sif.

“Thank God you’re back, I missed you so much, and you don’t know how intolerable they got.” She moved away as Odin stood, gesturing me forwards, I walked up to him and he pulled me into a hug as well.

After we had our reunion I was showed my room, it was the exact same as it used to be. I slid into my bed and fell asleep.
