Episode Fourteen - Comeuppance

Harry grins, "w-well...that was unexpected. This is what the Devil warned me about, this form you possess." Kevin looks at his hands, clenching them slightly, "this sensation." Harry tilts his head, smiling, "what's that Kevin?" "This sensation is calling for me to eliminate you," Kevin shouts, dashing at Harry, striking him in the face, sending him flying.

Harry shakes his head, flying through the air, "h-hehe, that was great! You've gained some unnatural powers, this'll be fun!" He catches himself, dashing at Kevin, throwing a punch. Kevin dodges in the air, wrapping his legs around Harry's arm, throwing him down to the ground. To watches in awe, "with his legs?! What is this madness?" Kevin floats to the ground elegantly, smiling down at his enemy.

Harry holds himself up, grunting, "you're v-v...very strong, friend." He stands, turning to Kevin, holding his hand out to him, firing a blast. Kevin deflects it with ease. Suddenly, Harry appears in front of Kevin, throwing a punch, which he catches. He throws Harry to the ground, jumping, striking down on Harry, shoving him to the ground, breaking the ground around him.

Kevin jumps out, smiling looking down at the destruction he caused. To sighs, closing his eyes, knowing that he was completely and utterly safe. Kevin sighs, closing his eyes, he felt a uneasiness in his body. This power was untamed, and as unfortunate as it was, he was unable to control the form for much longer. He needed to finish it quickly. Suddenly, a black electric spark surrounds him, he flies into the sky.

He holds his arms at his side, throwing them forward, firing a massive energy beam. It crashes into the destruction, it explodes. Kevin's energy spikes, shocking Kevin, making him drop the form. He falls to the ground, screaming in pain. To jerks awake, running over to Kevin, holding him up, "it's happening again!" To lays Kevin down to hopefully recover. To walks over, looking down at the destruction. Harry was missing. To turns around, Kevin was missing. He looked around, "Kevin?!"

In the sky, a mutilated Harry, and an unconscious Kevin were in the hands of a brutally mutilated Devil. He growls, "that was a close call..." He flies off. To swiftly runs to a hideout Future Kevin had created to keep everyone safe. "Ah...there you guys are, thank God you're all safe," To says. Future Kevin nods, smiling slightly, "we're glad you're safe. What happened?" To sits down, sighing softly, "Kevin came and saved me, he managed to tap into Peacemaker again, but...like the last time he reverted back to base." Future Kevin sighs, "is there a way to maintain that power?" "I don't know," To responds, trailing off. Future Kevin steps outside, the rain has stopped. He turns back inside, "say, where did Kevin go?"

"I don't know, he kinda just...disappeared," To says. "Disappeared?" Future Kevin repeats, "this can't be good..."

The Devil arrived at his destroyed base in the real world, setting Kevin and Harry down. "You two have caused a lot of trouble today, I think you two should just rest for now," he says, smiling down at them. Kevin was breathing slowly, but he was alive. "I can feel it...you're growing closer to completely completing Peacemaker," the Devil speaks softly. Kevin rests, recovering, his hair permanently has a red tint. The Devil turns, walking out of the room. 

Kevin opens his eyes, quickly getting to his feet, looking around, thinking to himself, "d-damnit, it's...it's the Devil's home...destroyed...home, wow, okay...let's get out of here." Kevin leaps from the room, running away from the house. The Devil observes this, smiling slightly, "good..."

Kevin manages a while before he takes a minute to rest, sighing. "Okay, uh...how do we get back to the new world?" Kevin asks himself, looking around again. He walks to an open field, completely untouched by the Devil's influence. This took him by surprise, "wow..." He walks up, kneeling into the bed of beauty, touching the grass.

For the last week, all Kevin saw was ruin, destruction in this world, so he was astonished to see a patch of growing, breathing grass and flowers, he smiled. The Devil suddenly appears in front of Kevin. He looks up, suddenly jumping back, getting into a battle-stance. "Okay now, Kevin...let's not ruin this new breath of this world," he says. Kevin growls, "you took me here! I know what you want from me, but I won't allow it!" "And what're you gonna do about it? You don't have that irritable form anymore," the Devil retorts, grinning. Kevin shakes his head, "I do have that form! I can...activate it!" Kevin closes his eyes, breathing slowly. The Devil stands and watch, narrowing his eyes.

Kevin gasps, holding his chest, "...I can..." He begins to growl, his hair pulsates red. He lets out a furious roar, bursting into Tomorrow's Breath v.2. Kevin sighs, "d-damnit! I couldn't do it- I've gotta escape!" Kevin snap vanishes in front of the Devil, throwing a punch. He goes to catch his fist, getting flung back. Kevin jumps back, flying off swiftly. The Devil gets up, growling, "damnit." 

Kevin lands in a forest, reverting back to base, sighing, "well, that was different, I guess this is the form that To has access to." 

To sighs, Sarah treats to his wounds. "What even happened?" "Kevin came and rescued me, he defeated Harry, my Tomorrow's Breath v.2 form wasn't enough to defeat him," To says, looking down at his feet. "I'm sorry...it must've been hard," Sarah says. "It's okay, it's over with, I just hope Kevin is okay," To states.

Kevin explodes into Tomorrow's Breath v.2, sighing, "it's raw power...amazing." He looks at his arm, it pulsates with the power of the form, "To really did something special." The Devil flies through the air, searching for Kevin. "Where did that slippery bastard go?" He asks himself, looking around. 

Kevin reverts to base, sighing, sitting on the ground. "What to do...what to do," he repeats to himself. He thinks to himself...an idea pops into his mind.

The Devil explores the sky, searching vigorously, however, with little luck. Suddenly, he feels Kevin's energy. He flies over, landing on the ground, seeing Kevin release all of his energy. Kevin, in Tomorrow's Breath v.2, he walks up to the Devil, looking into his eyes, "this time...I'll defeat you, you bastard." The Devil grins, a nervous sweat trickles down the side of his head. Kevin closes his eyes, "that's right..."

The Devil pulls back his fist, throwing it suddenly. Kevin catches it, the Devil's eyes widen. Kevin moves himself behind the Devil, wrapping his arms around him. The Devil, curious, asks Kevin, "what're you doing?!" Kevin grins, suddenly absorbing nearly all of the Devil's energy.

The Devil's eyes widen,  his pupils shrink. He gasps, falling to the ground as Kevin drops him. Kevin, now with the immense energy gained from the Devil, closes his eyes, containing it. He sighs, his hair reverts back to normal, but then...it pulsates red. He takes a deep breath in.

The Devil, quick to recover, stands up, charging more energy into himself, gathering energy from the surrounding death and misery of the world. He goes full power, charging at Kevin to stop his transformation. He throws a punch, but Kevin vanishes.

Kevin's hair raises slightly, it bursts into the familiar red, his eyes completely white. He had done it once again, Perfected Peacemaker. With outstanding control, he holds his hand out to the Devil, grinning, "this time...I'll control it."
