It's Hard To Take Courage

<Vince POV>

  I froze as Prince Corinth dropped back onto the ground with a shocked expression. How did I do that? How could I explain? Would he tell the king or queen? Will he kick me out? What could I say that he wouldn't tell anyone?

  "That was amazing!" He exclaimed, running up to me. "Can you teach someone how to do it? Or is it genetic?"

  I shrugged sheepishly, immediately back on the defensive. "I don't know, it just happens." I looked around nervously, checking to see nobody was in sight or could hear us. "I guess I could teach you a few things, just until the guy the queen sent up with food arrives."

  He grinned and sat down next to me on his bed. "What's the most useful thing you can do, other than flying?"

  "The cloaking technique," I decided. I held my hands up in a three sort of clawed position and held it to my chest. I pushed it out, and just by Prince Corinth's gasp of amazement, I opened my eyes and found I was invisible. He grinned so wide I thought his face split open, but when I showed him how to do it, the Prince's grin somehow go bigger.

  I spent the next hour or so teaching Prince Corinth spells, several different types of jujitsu, technique, and even special third eye powers that you have to train for hours to normally do. He mastered them pretty quickly, and even tried some that I created myself. The smokescreen technique, the change of mind technique, the dark sun technique; I had made all of them, and they were incredibly useful, especially the dark sun technique. The smokescreen technique was pretty self explanatory, just put your arm in and x formation like you were going to push someone, bring your hands together so they lined up, and flip them both inwards. Boom, smokescreen. The change of mind was more complicated, however. You would have to have both of your hands grabbing the opposite side's elbow, then slide them apart so that your middle finger is barely touching, then spread your fingers apart, press them together, then clap twice. That provides the ability of Silver Tongue. You can convince anyone of pretty much anything.

  The dark sun was definitely my favorite. You start off like the smokescreen technique, except your arms are flipped inwards, and you bang on your elbows twice, then undo the fists and lace your thumbs together, then flips your arms inside out and chant the following: Lascia che il sole diventi nero; su diventa giù; la sinistra diventa destra; lascia che gli dei siano contadini; lascia che le spade curino le ferite; rendimi potente.

  Now, I didn't even actually do it. I just showed Prince Corinth how to. The dark sun is very deadly. If you translate the text, you can see why. He asked what it does, but I told him never to use it. This power can wipe entire nations out. I could make Spain look like a no man's land. So no, I didn't even give him the chant.

  He laughed a breathless laugh and flopped over on the palet he had made on the floor. "I feel like this is better then the ball, lemme tell you."

  I laughed in response. "Is it still on?" I peeked out of the window. The royals were stumbling around, and Prince Ethan and Prince Henry were retreating to the castle. "Blast. I was going to get my cloak."
