Mayonaise?

My mother always taught me that when someone is in need its the right thing to help them. Taking this into account I decided to help a strange man in Walmart look for mayonnaise.

He looked pretty shady, if I do say so myself, but I ignored all the signs to help someone who clearly had no ideal what they were doing. I should've kept walking. I'm not the brightest sometimes.

So against my inner voice I walked up to him and asked if he needed help.

"Yes please! I need help finding the mayonaise. If you'd be so kind as to help I'll repay you in anyway." He seemed way too enthusiastic to be looking for something so gross. Maybe he just really liked his mayonnaise but he was giving me the hibbie gibbies already.

It wasn't his looks, I know that, it was just the way he acted. In fact he was quite handsome. His hair was brown and long with a slight frizz to it. It went down to his hips in loose curls that you wouldn't know are there without looking closely. His stormy grey eyes looked like Christian Grey's favorite shade. He had light freckles and pale skin.

"Miss? My mayonaise? Please tell me you know where its at!" He looked at me with his grey eyes wide and pleading.

I took a moment before answering, "Uh yeah... follow me." I motion for him to follow. And he did. Sadly.

"My name is James Logan Vampir." He introduced himself but continued on, "Just call me James though its much easier than all that and I prefer it." At that I let out a gruff ok.

This man was more confusing than I first realized. He is just standing there thinking about whether to get hot chilli mayonaise, which I didn't know was and actual thing, or original mayonaise. In my opinion both are gross. But he asked me my opinion anyway and I gave it to him.

I should've realized it then, as I felt eyes watched as I finished my shopping and pay for the groceries. I should've known when I saw a shadow following me but all I was concerned with was the murder party in my pants.

That was my downfall. A mistake I should have never made, but it was a mistake I don't regret. After all, as they say, no regerts.
