As the school bus takes its distance near and near to the school, Mariel feels a little bit nervous since it is her first time on high school life and she's not prepared for it.
She sighed and looked at the sky while the bus was constantly moving.
"Kaya mo 'yan Mariel! Hindi natin ipapahiya si kuya! Go lang girl, go!"
They finally arrived at the school and Mariel was searching for her room.
"Grabe, nasaan ba ang room ko! Nakakainis naman!"
She continue seeking and finally found it. She's a little bit nervous but manages to take a seat at the back of room. As she takes a seat, a girl approaches her.
"Hello!"
"H-huh? P-po?
"Ang sabi ko Hello!"
"Hello"
She nervously replied hello as the girl takes a seat beside her.
"Bago ka lang din dito?"
"Ah, eh, oo e. Ikaw din ba?"
"Yes, galing ako Canada and mom decided na dito ako mag-aral"
"Ah, ganoon ba? So, magaling ka sa English?", pagbibirong sambit niya.
"Waeyo?"
"Eeeeh! Korean naman 'yan e.
"Hahaha!"
As they get along the teacher finally arrives and the class goes on. As the day was about to expire, Icy approached Mariel.
"So, friends na tayo?"
"Oo naman!"
They both go home having a lock of friendship on their hearts.
