Just another day im my "oh so amazing' life

         As soon as my feet hit the gravel, I put on my best fake smile and walked into Dawn High School. I headed straight to "the table" where all the popular kids sit. "Oh my gosh Darcy your hair is ah-dorable" shrilled Stacey Dentin.

The girls at my table snicker, but when they turn around, I shoot Stacey  a kind smile. "So how are you and Luke doing?" Lacy asked me applying yet another thick layer of foundation to her face. I force my lips to show a toothy smile, "We're doing fine" I say. All the girls lean in, waiting for more.

"I mean I think he's totally going to ask me to prom!" The girls squeal and crowd me with hugs, but my eyes wandered over to Kitty. His hair falling into his multicolored eyes, that I knew for certain had specks of blue. He was tall and muscular, but not popular, so we only talked in private. I found myself walking over to him.

"I just going to touch up my gloss" I call back to the girls. They nod and continue their chatter."Hi Kitty cat" I say as I walk slightly past him to my locker, my fingers turning the lock. "Darcy" he sighs. "You know I don't like being called Kitty" "Fine, Kyle. hows everyone?" I say pulling the gloss out of my backpack.

He rolls his eyes, he hates his given name, he going to change it once he's eighteen. "Their fine" he replies slamming his locker closed. "Mhmm" I say smearing the gloss on my lips. He turns and stares at me. "What?" I ask slamming my locker closed as well. "You have a little-" he starts, but cuts himself of and reaches over to wipe off the excess gloss. His touch shocked me, and I don't mean static electricity.
