3RD POV

Your hands were crossed and your mind in a daze. You tap my foot, nervous If you did the right thing. Questions pile up in your mind: Did I? Was I oblivious? No, I couldn't have, If I had Deku would've stopped it and talked to him. Speaking of Izuku, your mind asked yourself, where Is he? Izuku wasn't the one to stay out late, and you two were supposed to have a slumber party. And If on cue, the news flashes on.

"Accident trails up on Bear Street, the patient goes by Izuku, Izuku Midoriya." Your head shot up, your eyes filled with worry and fright, you didn't wanna believe it was him cause the thought of it just scared you.
But the detailed description of the boy was uncanny, it was him. Your nails dug into your skin as you began to grow anxious about him staying there alone, hurt, and possibly- No, not dead. He's a fighter.

You sprung up from the couch, nearly tumbling, grabbing your shoes and necessities. Before you knew it you were in the car, driving down the road to a Hospital.

You hated the hospital. You hated the feeling, the sadness that spread in the room, and the sound of the cries of babies and grown men and women.

Soon you reached your destination. You slammed the door shut and ran inside, almost slipping on the soaked concrete, rain poured. You entered the two doors but felt your heart drop. The peoples' heads are lowered to the ground that's covered in dirt, mud, and water from the outside. The feeling was drowsy and depressing, feeling an overcoming sadness and loss of hope as soon as you connected eye contact with an elder. Her eyes drooped and her eyes lay grey, she no longer wore a smile. Her hands were clamped together in fear and her hair was ratchet, and messy. She didn't seem to care, she was to focus on finding hope but it was too small and distant for her reach. Your eyes threatened to pour tears, soon, your eyes tore from the ladies. She moaned in misery and sorrow, you felt your heart slowly drown of joy, into a darker display. Your eyes were glued shut, you bit your lip enough for it to bleed. You choked. You peeled your eyes open and walked to the lady who sat in front of the hospital; with a computer.

She was no different from the others, her makeup cracked and under her eyes were her mascara's rind, dotted and smudged. She looked up from her computer, still wearing a smile, yet is in a weak spot.

"H-Hi welcome to Musutafu Hospital how may I help you?" Her voice cracked in between her words, the only thing I could hear, and the only thing my ears would hear; the heartbroken and damned.

"Yes, hi... I'm (Y/n), I'm looking for Iz-Izuku Midoriya?" You try to keep it together, you did. But you failed by letting a tear slip by, you wiped it fastly, not wanting to show any disarray.

"No need to hide it darling, he's got it bad, but he's a fighter... Room 203, floor 2." You nod and smile, letting the comfort of her words warm your heart, but not enough to know your friend is going to be okay and well, but you still have hope. You wouldn't let it get the worst fo you.

You reached the elevator, pushed the button, and waited for the doors to open. Soon seconds went by and the long and awaited doors open, but not to what you wanted to see. A green-haired mama right in front of me.

"Oh Y/n..." She tumbled into my arms and I felt my shoulders weigh down by her grasp. \

"Inko... Please do-don't cry." Your voice cracks and you fell to the ground weakly. You had no energy, the aura that filled the air was too depressing and the broken mother in front of you was just dismal.

Minutes went by and the looks of others burned into your skin, but both you and Inko were too busy letting it all out, right there, on the marble flooring. She soon let go of you and her hands held your cold, shaking ones.

"I-I hate seeing you both like this you k-know that?" You sniff and your teeth still biting down on your bleeding lip, "You're like a daughter to me and I hate..." Her voice cracks and her hand moved to her mouth, you lift your head, looking at her.

"And you're like a mother to me, and I would've had said it the same." You lift her up from the ground and wipe her cheek, lifting her chin.

"Go home, make some tea and take a rest, It's been a long day..." She nods and grabs her purse, giving you one last hug before she left. You said your goodbyes and headed to room 2, scared.

The Inko disappeared within the night.
