String of gratitude,
While you can lose your grip of it,
I strongly pray you never throw it aside.
String of trust,
Whether in times of weariness
or times where you lose strength,
I hope it's always with every sigh (breath).
String of love,
Even if you're angry,
you should never let go of it with your shaking hands,
And I hope it becomes a strong warmth at all times.
This string of everything,
While you can forget it at times,
I strongly pray you never lose it.
No matter how many times you're idly swept away
by the many things in life,
I hope you become a strong cord that does not unravel
and continues to stay put no matter how many times a day you're pulled at.
