Twenty eight

Taehyung called Jungkook on phone and told him to prepare a delicious dinner for two before he later picked Sunmi after closing hours.

It was an uncomfortable drive . Sunmi couldn't stop staring at his face though out. He was getting tired of her looking at him continuously that he had to sigh deeply.

"Is there something on my face?" he said as he smiled smugly.

She cleared her throat to reduce the uneasiness she was feeling.

"No....Actually, you look very fine"

Taehyung smirked.

"It's just...I'm surprised you're inviting me out for dinner in your house.... You've always been cold and aloof to all the workers including me so i didn't think you noticed me"

She was blushing and Taehyung got the feeling she wanted him to say something so he decided to give her what she wanted.

"Actually, I admire you, you're hardworking, intelligent, beautiful...."

Her face turned red.

"Everyone talks well about you so i just felt like I needed to get to know someone like you a little better"

He grinned. "Is that okay? I hope you can get more comfortable with me"

She nodded her head smiling from ear to ear but then Taehyung turned serious.

"But, when we arrive at my place, there's something i have to tell you. you're going to be a bit shocked by what you discover"

Sunmi looked a bit frightened. "What? Are you doing something illegal?"

Taehyung laughed long and hard. "No Sunmi, don't worry. It's just something that may come as a shock to you but i really hope that you keep what you're going to discover here to yourself and not tell another soul. I'm going to trust you"

Sunmi looked thoughtful before she smiled at him. "Okay..."

Meanwhile, Jimin walked towards the kitchen to drink some water. He felt so tired and dehydrated. As he entered, he could perceive the aroma of good and delicious cooking. He looked and found Jungkook busily roaming round the kitchen. He was curious as to why the younger was cooking by this time of the night but he didn't want to ask so he just grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and gulped down a little of it before walking purposely to Jungkook.

"What are you doing cooking by this time?" he asked.

Jungkook smiled wryly. "Oh...I'm just preparing dinner for Mr Kim and his guest"

"Guest?" Jimin questioned looking a bit surprised.

Jungkook nodded. "Yes, guest and from what he told me, it's a woman from work"

Jimin's eyes twitched. Woman from work? He thought Taehyung was a loser when it came to his personal life but it seemed he could still play around. He scoffed. What did he care?

At that moment, he heard the front door buzz open.

"Master must be home with the guest" Jungkook said.

Jimin frowned. He noticed that Jungkook seemed too excited at the fact that Taehyung was bringing a guest over. Jungkook left the kitchen and Jimin followed behind to see with his own eyes.

When he got to the living room, there was Taehyung with Sunmi. They where both smiling at each other as Jungkook greeted them and took their jackets. Jimin scoffed to himself. He could already sense what Taehyung was up to but he wouldn't make it so easy for him. So he squealed excitedly.
