"What!? I don't want to move to the other side of the world mum! Next year I'm in year 12, I don't want to spend my final year trying to make friends, when I have amazing ones already!" I screeched at my mum.
I didn't want to move to England. Yeah, I've always wanted to o there, but as a 'holiday destination', not permanent.
"But honey, your dad got a great job offer which he couldn't refuse, it's great money Daise, it'll defiantly help us out! I know you don't want to move, but you've got to look at the other things Daisy." Mum explained
In all honesty, I am a daddy's girl. Always have and always will. I love him with everything, but this, this was a bit over the edge. He knows I had plans for my graduation with friends, and names to put on the back of our year 12 bomber jackets, and he defiantly new I was planning on going up to Queensland for schoolies with a massive group of friends.
And most importantly, he knew I was planing on trying to get school captain, when he was the one that persuaded me too.
But all that will be gone because of a decision I had no input in, and literally found out 2 months before we leave.
"Mum, do you know how hard it is to make friends when you go to a new school, let alone one on the other side of the fricken world! It's hard, actually no, not hard, fricken ridiculous!" I yelled in frustration.
"Sweetie I know it's hard! But if you want to after you graduate you can move into London and go to that University you've always wanted to go to!" My mum basically bribed me "and an iPhone?" She added pleadingly on the end.
"Ugh, fine! But you owe me big time! PLUS, the best room or otherwise I will flip and fly myself back to Australia you understand!" I eventually gave in.
But the only question floating around my mind was 'how am I going to tell my friends?'
I was scared of the mixed reactions I may face. Knowing my friends there will be tears, surprise and a bit shocked that I don't want to leave.
I'm going to me moving to Holmes Chapel; and Holmes Chapel is the town where Harry Styles from One Direction was brought up.
One Direction where basically our groups idols. We had never gone a day without talking about them at least once.
Another question that floated around is what if my friends forgot about me. Like completely.
I shuddered at that thought!
My friends couldn't forget about me... Could they?
NO DAISY! They couldn't, we've spent the last 5 years together, they wouldn't...
Anyway, I should introduce myself.
My name is Daisy Porter, but I go by Daise.
I am 17 years old and born on the 27th of October.
I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia.
When I'm older I plan to be (if I can get my grades up) a Physiotherapist, and by attending that uni in London would defiantly make that happen.
My dads name is Tony and my mum Margret. And I have a younger brother of the age 15 named Sam.
But that's me. And me, lives in Melbourne, Australia. Not Holmes Chapel, England as much as I would love to.
