Chapter 1 The Shop
Bryan walked into his little London music shop with a pile of bills in his hand that he'd grabbed from the mailbox. He stopped, and looked around. It was a small but very enjoyable place. Guitars hanging on the right wall. A piano in the front right corner. Posters all over the left wall. Record and music sheet stands in the front left corner. His long counter in the back. Then the window display in the front. And in the middle of the room, a long table with every instrument you can think of, each on a black velvet stand. He had put chairs all around the table so customers could try an instrument out. And of course his big juke box and soda machine in the back right corner. The left back corner was stairs leading up to his 1 bedroom apartment. Remembering that he may not have the shop long, made him upset again.
He thumped up the stairs and remembered that he wouldn't have anywhere to live if he lost the shop. Upstairs his kitchen and living room where smashed together in a 12 foot room. It was neat and tidy though because there wasn't much to clean up. A chair, coffee table, lamp, bookshelf, a trash can t.v made up the living room. The kitchen was basically the smallest kitchen you can imagine, with a 2 chair table that only had only 1 chair. His bathroom and bedroom where in the back.
He looked at his watch, 9 a.m. "Time to open up."

Chapter 2 Mr. Novak
Later that afternoon, there where a few kids at the soda machine and one girl getting lessons at the piano. "A rather busy day," Bryan thought to himself in anguish.
A few minutes later Bryan's landlord walked in. Bryan cringed. He tried to smile, but he knew it was a pitiful smile. "If it hadn't been for you," he thought.
Mr. Novak broke the ice with his burly voice. "Hello Mr. McCoy. And how are you?"
"Just fine Mr. Novak. Nancy I think that's all we'll do today." Bryan was slightly relieved to get rid of the kid.
"Alright, goodbye." She called back.
"Goodbye. How can I help you Mr. Novak?"
"I'm sure you know why I'm here. 700...."
"Yes, I know that!" Bryan interrupted. "Has something new come up?"
"Nothin' that I'm sure your not already expecting. We're giving you 3 weeks to move out."
"3!?"
"Nothin' I can do."
Bryan winced when he said that. He felt very uncomfortable. He fiddled with his tie. He wished he could strangle himself with it right then.
"Well, I guess I best be going."
"I guess so."
"Will you be movin' in with your folks?"
"I don't know. Goodbye."
"Goodbye."
Bryan gazed out the window. His neighborhood seemed so useless to him all the sudden. All the kids had left the shop so he went outside. It's not like the money was coming from the shop anyway. The brisk, cold day made him feel worse.

Chapter 3 Nickel and Penny
That night Nickel and Penny layed in bed thinking about all the things they had over heard in the music shop. Penny, who was a boy about 13 with hair the color of a penny, wanted to help Bryan. Nickel, who was also a boy but was 10, and who copied his brother, thus Nickel, liked the music shop too. And he would do anything Penny wanted him too. But he had doubts about this. They don't usually bother with adults.
"It wasn't eavesdroppin', was it Penny?"
"Not really. Not since we're gone be helpful." Penny replied.
Nickel paused. "That's true. I guess."
"What do ya mean "ya guess?""
"Alright, alright. Your still sure about this?"
"Of course."
"Of course."
So while Penny and Nickel thought up their mean little plan, Bryan kept trying to think of his own escape route.

Chapter 4 Beginning Of The End
The next morning Penny and Nickel got up early, for the first time ever, probably. They had a plan for that day. A plan they hoped would help.
For Bryan it was almost like any other day. Except he had to start finding a new place to live. He realized he could pack in 2 days. Less if he needed to. So he put that off. A small box arrived with new records. He set those up in the window display. It attracted some people, but not enough. He was feeling very sorry for himself all day, and when Penny and Nickel came to the shop after school, they could clearly see it. So they decided to put their plan into action.
They walked across the street and down 3 blocks and went into the post office. They were quite intimidated, but they asked the lady behind the desk what Mr. Novak's office address was quit calmly. Well, Penny did.
After they wrote the address down, they walked to were it was. To their surprise it was only a few blocks away. But before they went in, they checked their bag of supplies they had. After they found his office. They hid in the hallway and waited until Mr. Novak to come out. The bathroom was across the hall so they where sure he'd come out sooner than later.
