Chapter 25

With some gruesome thinking, Seungmin had decided to go through with it anyway.

Minho was happy for his bestfriend for staying strong, but he knows it is gonna be tough for him especially with Wonpil on the area.

"Good thing you agreed going today, not just for the company but for me." Minho said feeling entitled, this led to Seungmin hitting him on the head.

"Oww." Minho winced in pain.

"I swear, every cocky comment you get will lead to you getting hit on the head."

He always gets hit anyways.

"I just came for me. I didn't go for you or Hyunjin. Me.' To Minho, it sounded like he was forcing himself to say that.

We all know he went for Hyunjin. Especially after the note he had left at Seungmin's house and the breakfast he had enjoyed later, which was all cooked by Hyunjin.

How the hell did know where everything was in the kitchen? Seungmin rarely took Hyunjin home, because he ain't that rich so he was surprised that he knew where the pots, pans and utensils were.

"Yeah, you say that to yourself." Minho said.

"Just ignore it for now because the ceremony is starting." Seungmin said before focusing his attention to the stage.

"Hello! I am the former CEO of Hwang Industries, Hwang Jinyoung!" The man, who Seungmin assumed was his father. "Today marks a special occasion as we are partnering up with Kim Incorporated in a special business venture."

Everyone applauded after that, but for Seungmin, he just gave a slow clap.

"Please welcome the current CEO and my son Hwang Hyunjin, to speak a few words about the partnership and the big impact it has for this company."

There was loud applause from everyone at the event room. Dang, he is the most beloved CEO. Maybe because he is chill as fuck when it comes to being a boss, considering he is the youngest one. He relates with everyone.

"Thank you, everyone for being here." Hyunjin said before giving a quick look at Seungmin. He began his speech.

"As grateful I am to this partnership with Kim Incorporated. I have a very important thing to say about myself." Hyunjin sounded nervous about what he is about to say.

Everyone got quiet. Wanting to hear what Hyunjin has to say and also their curiousity.

"I-I am stepping down as the CEO." Hyunjin said stuttering and taking a deep breath afterwards.

This left a lot of people in shock, with a lot of talking with each other about it.

Seungmin was in shock too, he even looked at his family with an upset look. His mother was beginning to cry as well.

"I am 22 years old, I became a CEO at aged 19. I barely had a life to live after graduating Stanford. I never got a chance to live my life." Hyunjin ranted out his emotions and feelings. No one knew, he felt like this.

"With all the things thag are happening right now with the Korean society, showbiz and music industry, it has gotten very difficult for me and I don't wanna be apart for now. I just need to be me right now." Everyone was quiet and some were in awe like Minho who had his mouth gaped open from the shock. Dramatic bitch.

"I also fell in love with someone, who made me a better person and helped me enjoy what I was missing as a teenager. Kim Seungmin." Everyone's attention directly focused on Seungmin and it prompted Hyunjin to leave the stage and walked up to him.

Wonpil was furious because he wanted to gain more clout by fake dating Hyunjin. But that won't happen anymore.

"Hyunjin, I don't know what to say. This was your important announcement?" Seungmin said, still in shock with tears rolling down from his eyes.

"Yes, I wanna be with you Kim Seungmin. Forever." After saying that Hyunjin planted a soft kiss to his lips.

They didn't care if they were at the public eye. Because it seems like everyone was supportive anyway due to loud cheering. It was quiet when they started kissing, but they ain't homophobes.

The media was gonna have a field day on Hwang Industries but they don't cate because they are in their own world now.

Both of them left the building, holding hands with Minho following after.

"You guys are so cute together! Let's celebrate, let me call Jisung first." Of course, Minho felt lonely without his man here so he decided that the four of them would hang together.

Better yet, the whole gang should be invited.
