Say, you only love me

chapter 7

Jimin's pov

It was love at first sight.

I always believed that love at first sight was not possible and that it was just the thoughts of people wanting to believe in. Like how can anyone possibly be in love in just few seconds but now that it happened with me I can't ignore it. I read somewhere that all it takes to fall in love is just 3 seconds. 3 seconds is all it takes.

When I realized that I was still staring at her I cleared my throat to mask away my embarrassment and approached her.

She was still giving her beautiful smile. I sat near her with my back to the fountain and being near to her caused my heart to beat faster. I noticed that she even smelled nice. I could smell some citrus fruits, and flowers.

"Hi..!! You are Park Jimin right. Congratulations."

"Ah umm. Thank you." I was startled that she knew me and called my name. Though it was in a question but hearing my name from her sounded so different and pleasing.

The space around me suddenly became so small with her presence.

"What are you doing here outside?? It's your party, aren't you supposed to be with your guest...??"

"Oh yes. It's just felt so stuffy inside so I came outside for some air. And what about you? Not enjoying the party?"

"Ohhh nothing like that. Party's all good. It's been quite a while or should I say a very long while coming to such a big party. Needed time for adjustment. Also my heels were killing me." she said as she scrunched her nose looking at her feet.

She was sharing her reason but all I could think of was she cute she looked scrunching her nose.

"Too bad that we cannot see stars at night here in Seoul." She looked up at the night sky and sighed. "I want to eat tteobokkki and meat balls."she said suddenly.

I was very surprised because just then she was sighing about not being able to see the stars and suddenly and out of nowhere wanted to eat street food.

"If you want to go then I can take you."I offered her laughing at her abrupt behaviour. Also I wanted to spend more time with her and get to know her better.

"Really! You will take me? But what about your party? Won't you have to be here.?"

"The party's almost over so it's okay if I leave. Come on let's go." I said to which she did a little happy dance and quickly put on her heels.

Upon reaching my car I opened the car door for her being a gentleman.

Around midway I parked the car by the side of the road and excused myself for a while.

I knew that she was not comfortable in those heels so I entered a shoe shop and asked the saleslady to show me flat slippers for ladies. As she showed me, I chose the most comfortable looking one.

As I paid and went back to the car she was looking outside the window at the crowded streets.

I handed her the bag and she looked at me with a questioning look first and saw inside the bag. She was surprised at first but then she happily accepted and thanked me.

She changed her heels with the sandles I got for her and I was inwardly very pleased and felt relief that those sandals fitted her perfectly. I was not quite sure about her shoe size as I had only a brief look at her heels earlier.

The place was not very far so soon after we reached the place and I parked my car and we got off.

"Wow.. it smells so good.I want to eat tteobokkki, gimbap, yachea and many other delicious food.." she sounded so happy and cheerful.

Seeing her so happy made me very happy and content too."Okay let's go" I said just as happily as she had.
