"Do I have to go?" I asked my best friend Kristanna who's taking pics of herself in the mirror.
"What do you mean do you have to go you already got ready." says Kristanna confused.
"All I need is for you to say yes you can stay home and I'll have this dress and makeup off in 2 seconds flat" I say while smirking.
*Kristanna laughs*
"What's so funny?" I ask.
"You do this every time I take you to parties you get really nervous before we get there and then when we do you end up having a great time so you're going end of story. I don't know why you get so nervous anyway you're actually a real people person." Kristanna states.
"Ha" I scoff. "I'm way to awkward and shy to be a people person. The only reason I'm so confident at parties is b/c I get so lost in the music and dancing that i forget about reality. But as soon as the music stops and things calm down I snap back to reality and the reality is that i'm an introvert." I say.
"Yea yea you can say you're introvert all you want but I'll never buy it for a second." Kristanna says while laughing
"Now grab your car keys and let's go. I'm ready to meet new people already!" Kristanna says excited.
I laugh, grab my car keys and we head for the party.

"You ready Julie?" Kristanna ask
"Actually don't answer that I already know you're going to say no" Kristanna says before I can answer her question as she pulls me into the party.
The house is quite big and from the outside you can see the lights streaming through the windows and hear the music banging through the walls. Kristanna goes off to mingle as usual so I'm stuck by myself. I take a deep breath and go to the dance floor. I only do small dance movements b/c one I can't really dance and two if I start to do anything two crazy I'll be in the middle of a circle with people cheering me on and that's a scary thought to me. Soon I get lost in the music as I always do and them I feel someone bump into me.
"My bad" he says.
"You're good" I respond.
"Hey you're a pretty good dancer" he says
"Ha ha thank you the key is to do small easy dances" I laugh.
He laughs as well "I'm Ondreaz by the way" he smiles
"I'm Julie" I smile back.
All of sudden the lights and music shut off and the whole place is pitch black. You hear people screaming and panicking until the lights flicker back on but the music is still off.
"Sorry we're having technical difficulties music should be back on in a second" says the host of the party Michael.
I can now feel my heart beat in my chest I'm back in reality. Ondreaz still standing right in front of me looks at me and ask
"Are you ok?"
"Yea i'm fi-"
Wow I didn't notice before but he's really attractive. Now my hearts beating even harder.
Ondreaz is still looking at me concerned
"Fine haha I'm fine" I finally say.
Ondreaz smiles "Good I wouldn't want for my possibly new friend to be hurt or scared."
I try to speak but my mouth doesn't move all I can hear is my heart pounding. I can't take it I run out of the house as fast as I could.
"Julie? Wait! Where are you going?" Ondreaz shouts.
I hear his voice fade as I get farther and farther away from him.
