I drop my fork on my foot in horror (and it really hurt). I hide the embarrassment on my face and excuse myself from the table. I walk on to the balcony and let myself wonder into deep thought. I get lost in thought until the only thing I can think about is why my sister the Princess is getting married before me the Queen. All of a sudden I feel a shot of pain in my stomach and I fall to the ground. I clutch my stomach and sigh to myself before Anna comes in.
“What’s wrong Elsa?” Anna asks with concern in her voice.
“Anna, I am thrilled that you have fallen in love and all but I always thought me being queen would be married before you no offence…” I burst into tears.
“Elsa. It doesn’t have to be that way Erindale don’t expect you to be married before me! Don’t be so hard on yourself sis!” Anna then walks off and bumps shoulders with Prince Bradley as he walks in to check if I am alright.
“Elsa…” he says but I stop him in the middle.
“Just listen first it must have looked bad out there but it’s not what you think. Don’t just make assumptions that I am not happy for them or that I won’t bless their marriage like Anna’s last attempted one. I am sitting in a puddle of my own tears because I always thought I would be the first one to get married because I am the queen…” I shout sounding a little more aggressive then I should have.
“I just came out here to see if you wanted some of the celebration cake?” he says bringing a piece of cake from behind his back.
“I’m so s…” I try to say I am sorry but he puts finger to my lip and whispers
“Don’t be” before he kisses me softly.
“I have to go back in!” I say getting up.
“I’m sorry if I offended you.” He replies quickly
“No you didn’t that was amazing but I kind of have to go now goodbye!” I rush off back in and sit down back at the table. Anna smiles at me and I smile back. I am truly happy that she has found the guy she wants to spend the rest of her life with. But now there is more pressure on me to find the perfect guy.
