It descended into chaos as the soldiers unloaded into the creature as it walked towards them. Jim didn't stick around to see what it did as he started running straight into the arms of an MTF unit. In all of the chaos he must've not noticed the automated intercom system. They grab him and he tells them what happened. The commander, grim faced, speaks "You two", pointing to two of the cadets, "escort the scientist out of the facility the rest of us will turn on the nuke". The cadets nod and bring Jim to the gate to the entrance zone. He was so excited he didn't hear the footsteps behind him. He sunk into the floor and before he knew he was in a strange place. It was dark with five doors..... and a strange man was standing in the middle pure black. It looked like an old man, and he was ...... smiling a wicked smile. Before the old man could come closer to him Jim darted into one of the doors and was back at the gate to the entrance zone, and before him were the bodies of the two cadets in a pool of blood. As he bent down to take a closer look he noticed their necks were bent at an unnatural angle. It was the last thing he ever saw.
