(Dayla's P.O.V)
Nathan and I stayed behind , while the rest of the gang decided to go out to the amusement park. I asked Nathan to stay behind with me and just chill on the tour bus.
We sat on the couch watching "Friends". I sat in between his legs , his arms were wrapped around me, squeezing me tight.
"I feel like I can tell you anything." He whispered on my neck.
"Me too, but there is something you dont know about me." I said turning to face him.
"I only have one working kidney, its been this way since birth." I blurted out.
"And?" He asked, referring to me stopping.
"My working kidney is failing and if I dont find a donor , I'll die within the next 3 to 4 months." I stammered.
"Wow." He said letting it sink in.
"Do the others know?" He asked.
"Everyone knew, but you.." I trailed off.
"Why?" He asked.
"I didnt know how to tell the guy I...." I stopped.
"The guy you what?" He asked.
I didnt answer and silence filled the entire bus.
He pulled me into a tight hug, he bit his lip & mumbled "I have something to ask."
"Yes?" I nodded.
"Do you love me?" He asked.
"More than you'll ever know." I said, looking into his eyes.
"You kept sending mixed signals. Why didnt you tell me how you felt ? Im not a mind reader." He said.
"I don't want to get attached to you...then leave you, I told you the doctor only says I have 3 or 4 more months left.." I cried.
"Shhhh, Shhhh. I wont let you die, we'll find a way." He held me in his arms.
"I love you...Im in love with you."He added lifting my chin with his finger.
He took my hand and kissed it, mumbling "You are the best thing that happened to me in my life" against the back of it.
"So are we official?" I asked, really confused.
"Duhhh !" He smiled.
I got up from the couch and sat on his lap , he started stroking my hair.
"I'm difficult, but I promise I'm worth it." I laughed.
