Chapter 5: The UA Sports Festival

A/N- Soooooo I'm alive. Yeah, I lost all motivation to write for the last few months and I decided to focus on putting my life back together. I have things back on track and now have a renewed passion to write again but this time im going to focus on one story at a time and that will be this one. With Season 4 of My Hero Academia and Glitchtale finally being updated gave me a new passion to start this story again. So here is the long-awaited return of Catching A Murderer. Enjoy!

Y/N POV 

We were all sitting inside the locker room waiting to be called out to the stadium. Most of us were talking to one another while some prepared themselves for the upcoming challenge. I was in the corner with my eyes closed training in the mindscape when I hear a commotion coming from the real world. I open my eyes to see Torodoki standing in front of Midoriya and I immediately knew that something bad was about to happen. 

Todoroki "Midoriya."

Midoriya "Hey Todoroki. What's up?"

Todoroki "From an objective standpoint. I think it's fair to say that I'm stronger than you."

This caught everyone by surprise. Midoriya tries to retort this but overall fails "Yeah..."

Torodoki "However, you have All Might in your corner helping you out. I'm not here to pry about what's going on between you two. But know that I will beat you."

Kaminari "What's with all of these declarations of war recently?"

Kirishima "Yeah, what's the big deal? Why are you picking a fight all of a sudden? And right before we get started."

Torodoki shakes Kirishima's hand off of him "We're not here to be each other's friends. Don't forget that this isn't a team effort." He then walks away. I was about to get up and see what his problem was but before I could Midoriya piped up.

Midoriya "Todoroki wait. I don't know what's going through your head right now or why you need to tell me that you'll beat me, and yeah, of course, you're better than me. You probably have more potential than anyone in the hero course. That's how you got in so easily."

Kirishima "Maybe you're being a little hard on yourself and us."

Midoriya "No. He's right you guys. The other courses. They're coming for us with everything they have. We're all gonna have to fight to stand out. And I'll be aiming for the top too."

Torodoki "Fine."

Y/N "Well that was eventful. But we should probably be heading out."

The others nod in agreement as they all get up. We walk out into the hallway and down the corridor where we can hear all the excitement coming from the stadium. All I hear is Present Mic screaming like Papyrus on sugar.

Present Mic "HEEEEYYYYY!!! MAKE SOME NOISE YOU RABID SPORTS FANS! GET THOSE CAMERAS PREPPED MEDIA HORDES!! THIS YEAR WE'RE GONNA BRING YOU SOME OF THE HOTTEST PERFORMANCES IN FESTIVAL HISTORY GUARANTEED. I ONLY GOT ONE QUESTION FOR YOU BEFORE WE START THIS SHOW! ARE YOU READY!? LET ME HEAR YOU SCREAM AS OUR STUDENTS MAKE THE BIG STAGE!"

My classmates and I were walking through a tunnel to get to the field. As we walk out I hear Midoriya mutter something. I look around the stadium to see tons and tons of people.

Y/N "That's a few more people than I expected."

Midoriya "W-w-ow... that's a lot of people..."

Iida "I sure do hope that we are all still able to give our best performance despite all these eyes on us. Although I do suppose it's just another aspect of being a hero that we're all gonna have to get used to."
