The patch on his skin was still itching, begging to be touched again. Or maybe to be cut off and thrown away so Can didn't had to bear with the sensation of ants running down his arm.

Pete stood silent infront of  him, the person Ae had been all crazy about for the last few weeks. Now that he took a good look at him, he had to admit that Pete was clearly out of his friend's league. The other had soft brown locks and naturally slightly rosy cheek that you just couldn't help but want to pinch. He reminded Can of a doll.

The boys pink lips opened, "Sorry about that."

Can stared at way Pete scratched the back of his neck and refused to meet his eyes, this boy is whipped. "It's alright," he paused, "You're Pete, right?"

"Yes," Pete hazel eyes met Can's dark ones, "And you are...?"

"Can," he answered with a smile.

"Nice to meet you," the other boy smiled, showing off his pearly white teeth.

Can nodded, a little puzzled by the way Pete was just so full of... grace. He thought only girls had that ability to be elegant and graceful. Maybe he could convince this boy to teach his sister one or two things.

His shoulder still burned and he was sure that by the way Pete's always seemed to find his shoulder where Mirror Boy grazed him that it was twitching. God damnit, he wasn't really that keen on going to the doctor's for a check up again just because someone touched him and his skin was reacting weirdly.

Pete took a step forward, "Are you alright? Your shoulder is twitching."

So he was right. Can sighted slightly and touched his shoulder, the skin underneath his shirt was becoming even hotter than before, "I'm alright," he said nonetheless, "Thanks for worrying."

The other shook his head softly and shifted his gaze out of the window. The warm rays of sunshine were hitting his profile and he looked like one of these models you see on Instagram. "He should have been more careful. I apologize on his behalf."

Can was suddenly hit with a wave of curiousity, "Who was he?"

Pete mustered him up and down, like he is trying to figure out if he was allowed to share such a seemingly precious information about the person he  was referring to as 'Mirror Boy'. Maybe he should call him 'Suicidal Boi' instead, it seemed to fit him more.

The other breathed out, "Tin." His heart ached painfully when Pete said that name, "My friend, Tin."

Can bit the inside of his cheek, trying to make his heart stop throbbing inside of his chest.

He remembered the person Techno told him about the other day. A rich boy and heir to Sidickz, a company that was famous all over the world for their outstanding video games they bring onto the market. That boy's name was Tin Medthanan, wasn't it?

"As in Tin Medthanan?" he asked, tilting his head slightly to the side.

Something in Pete seemed to change. The warmth his eyes held suddenly vanished, leaving an icy path of frozen autumn leaves and Can shifted uncomfortably on his feet, avoiding the others eyes as much as possible, afraid to be frozen solid.

"Yes. But he's not what you think he is."

Now, what was THAT supposed to mean?

"What?" he said stupidly and he regretted as soon as he saw the way Pete was staring him down.

"The rumors aren't true." Pete said matter-of-factly, but there was some confusion in his tone. Had he thought wrong and Can didn't know about the rumors revolving around his best friend?
