Matt for imani

Matts pov : today has to be perfect.
I'm going to the beach with the guys and Imani . Imani is my best friend she just gets me like no one else does . She knows me better than I know myself . She knows how to make me smile when I'm crying . She can make me laugh within seconds . She's so perfect . I just feel so different when I'm around her . She makes me so happy. Lately I've been feeling different about her. I don't want to be friends with her I want to be more . Today is the day I tell her I hope I don't ruin everything I hope she feels the same .

At the beach
Matts pov :
Everyone's in the water except for Imani I have no idea where she is .
"Where's Imani?"I asked Nash
Nash: she's over there laying down
"Ok be right back "
I got out of the water and started walking over to Imani .
Imani:hey Matt
"Hey why aren't you in the water " I asked
Imani: I'm a little tired and I'm trying to tan
I immediately picked her up and threw her over my shoulder
Imani: Matt what are you doing put me back down dork
" no thanks " I said laughing
I started running toward the water I jumped in getting us both wet .
Imani: ok Espinosa games on
Next thing I knew we were having a huge water fight with all the other boys . We were having so much fun we didn't even realize it had started to get dark .
Nash: it's getting dark maybe we should start a bonfire to warm up before we leave
everyone : good idea
We all got out of the water and I knew this was my chance to get Imani alone and tell her how I feel .
"Imani , lets go for a walk yeah ? "
Imani: yeah sure
We walked away from all the guys it was kinda cold I noticed Imani shiver a bit .
" you cold ?"
Imani: a little
"Here take this " I said while handing her my towel
"Thanks Matt " she said
" no problem " I replied
Imani: the sky's so beautiful
" not as beautiful as you are " I sad
Imani : you're so cheesy Matt
"The cheesiest " I replied making us both laugh gosh he laugh is like a perfect melody to my ears
"I love you laugh " I said making her blush she turned her head away from me so I wouldn't see her blushing I grabbed her and made her face me
"You're cute when you blush " I said making her blush even more
"I love you Imani "
Imani: I love you too Matt
"No Imani you don't get it i love you more than a friend you're everything I've ever wanted . No one else can make me feel the way you do "
Imani: I know Matt I feel the same
"Will you be my girlfriend "
Imani: I thought you'd never ask
I leaned down and kissed Imani and it was better than I had ever thought it would be butterflies erupted in my stomach and it felt like fireworks were exploding everywhere . I couldn't be happier .
