"WILL YOU TURN THAT DISRESPECTFUL JUNK OFF?" Boost jumped awake in surprise as he heard the argument of the military Jeep and the hippie van. "RESPECT THE CLASSICS MAN! IT'S HENDRIX!" The hippie van yelled back. Boost groaned to himself. He wanted out of the Radiator Springs impound lot so badly. "It's not like I don't like this town. I do, it's amazing, I just don't like the place that I'm forced to sleep in and the dirty road work that I'm forced to do" Boost thought. The other three tuners started waking up as well. Wingo moaned and slowly opened his eyes. Boost glanced around him, knowing that at any moment, Snot Rod would sneeze "ACHOO!" Boost groaned. Too late.

In the cozy cone, McQueen yawned and rolled out of his cozy cone. A warm smile greeted him. "Good morning Stickers!" Sally Carrera, the town attorney said. "Morning Sal" McQueen said, kissing his girlfriend on the fender. "How about a drive today after training with Doc?" Sally asked. "Yeah, I'm up for that and hey, maybe after training with Doc, we could take Boost with us and let him race with us through Tailfin Pass" McQueen said. "Sounds good stickers" Sally said. "Hey! Hotrod! You gonna get fueled up for today's round of training or what?" A grumpy voice called. "Coming Doc!" McQueen called as he drove over to Flo's and parked next to Mater and Flo gave him his Motor oil. McQueen heard the hum of a familiar engine and glanced up. It was Evelynn and she had a metallic black Mitsubishi Eclipse with a silver streak going down the middle of him. He was black on either sides of the silver line. "That must be Boost's brother" McQueen guessed. He rolled over to the Tuner. "Hey, Lightning McQueen" McQueen said, holding out a tire. The tuner looked at him. "Uh, hey, Kodiak Speedster" the Tuner said. "Are you?" McQueen asked. "Yeah, I'm the brother of that Mitsubishi Eclipse you have in the impound lot" Kodiak said. McQueen looked at Kodiak weirdly then drove with Doc out to Willies Butte with Sally, Mater, and Luigi following. Kodiak glared after them. Evelynn put her tire on his side to stop him from going after them. "Patience Kody, we'll break Boost and his friends out and everything will be okay" Evelynn said. "Well, if you say so Evelynn" Kodiak said.

Later, at midnight, Evelynn flipped her headlights on and drove out of her cozy cone. Kodiak was asleep. "Kody!" Evelynn whispered, knocking on the cone door. Kodiak came out. "Oh, it's midnight, we ready?" Kodiak asked. "Yes, I wanna get out of this town and back to mom and dad as soon as possible" Evelynn said. Kodiak switched on his headlights and both of them headed to the impound where Boost, Wingo, DJ, and Snot Rod were asleep. Evelynn knocked on the gate, waking the four tuners up. "Evelynn? What do you want?" Boost asked. "It's time to get you four out of there" Kodiak said. "Alright! I was starting to go crazy in here!" Wingo said. Evelynn and Kodiak glanced around. The town was quiet, all the cars were asleep and only the glow of the traffic light was going. "Alright, nobody is awake and we have to stay quiet until we get to the interstate" Evelynn said as Kodiak opened the impound gate and Evelynn went in and removed all of the tuners' parking boots. "Awesome! Thanks sis!" Boost said. "Yeah, yeah, now let's get out of here, but quietly" Kodiak said as the six tuners crept out of the town.
