There's so much
I wanted you to know,
Maybe about that night
I spent watching
The moon glow.
Or that time,
When I broke
My mother's heart,
Or when she sewed
Me a new sweatshirt.
The journey from
When I wanted to
Climb the highest hill
To when I wanted to
Touch the bottom
Of the deepest lake.
The day I spent
Reading love poetry,
Or when I went on
Scribbling in my diary.
Those times when
I want to play in the mud,
Drench in the rain,
And swim in the flood.
Those beautiful times
I spent thinking
About you, loving you,
Caring for you,
Creating an entire World,
A whole new existence,
With you.
Well, you missed
All the fun.
You left me before
It had even begun.

PoetryThis anthology presents poems written during various phases of my life, and to be honest, I never knew I would actually publish them. But ofcourse it's an amazing experience to do so and I hope you guys will find them, err, not so cringey?
